Delightful spacious villa set in large plot with plenty of shade, safety fenced and alarmed private swimming pool (heated from May to September) with sun terrace, veranda with dining table and chairs, barbecue, boules area, covered car park spaces and security gates. Fully equipped modern kitchen, four good sized bedrooms, two ensuite bathrooms, third bathroom and additional WC. Tastefully furnished with tiled floors throughout.

As the gate to the Cote d'Azur and the Alpes de Haute Provence, the department of the Var has many visitors. It's beautiful landscape with both mountains and sea and it's sunny Mediterranean climate provide tourists with an exceptional place to visit. Nearby Moissac-Bellevue at 600m Moissac-Bellevue has an exceptional view that extends from the Esterel massif, through that of the Maures, and on to the Ste. Baume mountains. The village has kept its true Provençal atmosphere with its cobblestone streets. Also nearby Regusse has 15th and 16th c. restored mills (one still grinds flour). Aups which is a little further (9km)has a bit more to offer, including its black truffle market every Thursday from November to February. In the Verdon Gorges and on the Lac du St Croix it is possible to take part in a variety of physical activities including a pedalo through the Gorge or windsurfing on the lake.

  • Plenty of hot water for all those showers. As in most French country properties the drainage is via a septic tank - although this works very well it means that there are restrictions on what can be flushed down the toilet.

Sun lounger’s and parasol surround the 8m x 4m heated (May to September) pool which has an alarm and is surrounded by fencing. There is a boules area, security gates and covered parking. Large woodland plot which is uncultivated and excellent for children to explore.

Perfect French Holiday Villa Retreat

June-July 2009.....
Having been 'resident' for the past 5 summer vacations at Villa Kashdan in both June and early July over the years, we would advise that the villa internally is finished and equipped to a high standard, the pool surround provides ample space for the sun worshipers with the pool itself providing welcome relief from the mid day sun, as required and the extensive wooded gardens provide a peaceful area to shelter from the heat of the summer sun, if required.
We travelled extensively around the area, mainly to visit the local village markets to '..meet the locals..' and purchase their fresh, locally farmed products and goods.
With the Verdon Gorge and its massive lake within a 10 min drive there are ample facilities for the water sport/ adventure seekers.
Fabulous Villa which would suit couples and families hoping for a relaxing vacation in the heart of the French countryside....hopefully we will return next year.

Villa Kashdan is perfect in every way

We have been coming to the south of france for the last 4 years and this was our first time at Villa Kashdan and can't wait to re-book. It is a perfect location for visiting the Gorges du Verdon and the town of Aups is fabulous there was something happening there everyday.

The swimming pool and facilities at the villa were excellent. The property was clean and well maintained.

being a director of my own architects practice in Glasgow, the villa was finished and furnished to a very high standard and we all enjoyed the peace and quite of garden and the pool area for the 2 weeks we were 'resident' in the villa. We travelled extensively around the area and visited many small villages to '..meet the locals..'.

Just a note to thank you for the user of your beautiful villa. Your photographs don't do the house justice. It must be the first holiday I had where I didn't want to leave.
