This beautiful villa is situated just outside the Medieval village of Correns, considered to be one of the most sought after villages in Provence. It is built of old stone and centers around a courtyard with its Pool a focal point. The property extends to some 10 acres, mostly with Rosemary and Wild Thyme underfoot and there are wonderful views across the valley of the River Argens. The house is ideal for families of all sizes; the bedrooms have en-suite facilities and most lead out directly to the Pool and Patios. The living room is equipped with Satellite TV which includes News, Sports and Movie Channels as well as a Music center. The kitchen has modern appliances with American Fridge/Freezer plus independent Fridge in the Cuisine d'Ete, just for the wines. The Cuisine d'Ete has its own Pizza oven and there is a deluxe Weber 'Summit' Barbecue; the external night lighting ensures that many evenings 'AL Fresco' can be enjoyed. There is also Table Tennis. WIFI, FAX and Business Centre.

LA TOSCANE is situated amid 10 acres of Pines, Rosemary and Thyme on the old road to Cotignac, just outside the medieval village of Correns. The coastal resorts of St. Tropez, St Raphael and Cassis are an hour's drive away and the famous Canyon called the 'Gorges de Verdon' is a short drive to the North. Cotes de Provence Vineyards producing fine Rose wines are all around this area.

The Swimming Pool: The Pool is 13m x 6m and is equipped to conform to the latest regulations concerning Child safety. It has an Automatic cover operated by turning the key thus ensuring the pool can be closed for the safety of youngsters when not in use. The filtration plant ensures that the level of water in the pool is constantly maintained.

Golf and Tennis: There are some excellent Golf courses in the Var with the Golf of Barberoux just 12 kms away. Designed by Pete and PB Dye, this is a challenge for the serious golfer. There is a Robert Trent Jones Golf course at St-Endreol, an equally testing course 30 kms away. Alternatively a trip to the coast and the town of Bandol would ensure a fine round at Golf La Fregate. Tennis can be enjoyed in most villages nearby. It was Francois Mitterand who said that every village in France should have a Tennis court and so it is true of Correns. It is not a bad one either havaing recently been resurfaced and new netting provided. It is located beside the 'Cooperative'.

Restaurants: There are Restaurants everywhere. In the local village of Correns, we are proud to have 'Auberge du Parc' where truffles are often the order of the day. In Cotignac and Carces, there are Pizzerias, Traditional Provencal Restaurants and Trattorias and in the larger towns, you will find Michelin starred Restaurants like 'Abbaye de la Celle'(Alain Ducasse) in Brignoles and Bruno the Truffle King in Lorgues. Further afield, there is the 'Gorges de Pennafort' in Callas and the newly assigned Michelin star, 'La Fontaine d'Aragon' at Montauroux. Bon Appetit.

Other Activities: Golf de Barberoux, (P & PB Dye course) is not to be missed.
