This villa has been fully decorated by the owners who spend two months of the year at the villa. Full music system, Sky TV, DVD plus selected movies, reading material, and fully equipped kitchen and laundry. A cottage in the lower garden, in the olive orchard, is equally comfortable, and ideal for two people who want to be away from the house, whilst still being part of the group.
Available activities:
The villa has a large beautiful pool, and a boules court. There are a number of excellent golf courses in the area, with the closest being 20 minutes away, and tennis courts in the village. There are great walks and cycling opportunities in the area, fascinating weekly markets in all the villages around (Lorges on a Tuesday is a must!), and the attractive busy regional town of Draguignan is only 10 minutes away. Here you can visit some interesting museums, and the old town; it is also the location of a beautifully maintained American military cemetary commerating the troops who died after the invasion of Southern France in 1944.
The coast is only 35 minutes away, and a wonderful way to approach the beautiful harbour town of St. Tropez is to take the ferry from St.Maxime, a 5 minute trip across the bay. You do not need a car in St.Tropez, which has predictably a range of stunning shops and restaurants. Have coffee at the Cafe de Paris on the quayside, and watch the yachts and people!
