This attractive traditional stone built villa nestles in the valley below the lovely village of Fayence in the heart of Provence, SE France, 40 minutes drive from Nice Airport. The house has the advantage of coolness from the thick stone walls in the summer, combined with modern appointments and facilities. Relax in the covered outdoor kitchen / dining area, with built-in barbecue, stone sink and fridge, overlooking the large and inviting heated pool. Snooze in 1 of 2, 4 person Mexican hammocks slung between trees in the garden.

The house is in a beautiful area of France, comfortable but in need of some TLC and upgrading of the facilities. Overall we enjoyed our stay as we visited some old haunts and discovered new ones, as we visit France often That said we were very disappointed with the condition of sun loungers, the quality of crockery and kitchen equipment, the condition of the pool area which is in need of repair, and the fact which is not clear from the photographs that the pool is not private as the neighbours windows overlook the pool directly, which should be advised to tenants, the village is not a comfortable walk as we were advised, therefore all visits had to be by car. The local couple who maintain the property were fantastic, and communication with the owner when we had a problem with the pool, was excellent, and dealt with promptly.
