Excellent villa with lovely views and private heated pool – ideally situated just 3 minutes’ walk from the centre of the historic village of Montauroux -only 40 mins from Nice airport. The hill village of Montauroux is at an altitude of 464 metres – at the gateway to the Var department and with a population exceeding 4000 has several restaurants and all the day to day shops for guests' needs and a supermarket 10 mins by car in the valley below. The village enjoys 280 days of sunshine each year and is an excellent holiday base to explore the villages and countryside of the inland “Arrière Pays” or equally to enjoy days on the coast with the resorts from Cannes west to St Raphäel only 30-40 min drive away. Situated just off the village centre this immaculate property is in a quiet residential location and enjoys panoramic views. Montauroux is one of several picturesque nearby villages - amongst the most beautiful villages in France – with stone village houses lining narrow cobbled streets leading to a 'Place du Marché' or castle and church. In addition to local shops and restaurants there is a different provençal market for nearly every day of the week. For excursions it is a 30 minute drive to the resorts of the Riviera or inland there are many more wonderful undiscovered villages of the hinterland -with shady squares by a tinkling fountain surrounded by Côte de Provence vineyards and a 'must see ' - a trip to the unique and spectacular Gorges of Verdon.
