Villa Cades is a delightful character property set in a peaceful woodland setting. The surrounding grounds of 10,000m² of grassy gardens, olives and Mediterranean plants give it a high degree of privacy. There are beautiful views to the mountain backdrop from the outside dining terrace. The villa is comfortably furnished in typical French style, with oak beams, an open fireplace, doors to front and back facing dining terraces. The living area is open plan with a well equipped kitchen. The property is well located for access to the coast, around 25 minutes drive and the famous Lac St Cassien, for its swimming, fishing, pedalos and other water activities. There are good supermarkets and weekly markets in all the local villages of Fayence, Montauroux and Callian. For golfers, the property is just a short drive from the Terre Blanche Golf Course.

Fayence is a beautifully preserved hilltop village where is an good choice in local shopping, with regular markets and also in Callian and Montauroux and 3 good supermarkets within easy reach. There is an excellent choice of restaurants either serving gourmet meals or pizzas and pastas closeby. For the sports enthusiasts there is plenty to do. There are several Golf courses within easy driving distance. You can fish, swim or row on the Lac St Cassien, just 10 minutes drive away or you could choose to walk through the forests or countryside for which this area is well know. The Gorges de Blavet is a short drive away and you can walk through the Gorges and take in the breath-taking scenery. Beaches of Frejus/St Raphael are half an hour away by car or from St Raphael you could take the ferry service across to St Tropez or Cannes and its islands for a most enjoyable day trip. You will never be short of something to do in this beautiful region of France, explore and enjoy!

Local activities:: This region is famed by the presence of the beautiful Lac St Cassien just a 10-15 minutes drive away. Here you can picnic beside the lake, take a leisurely pedalo across the lake or for the more energetic, a rowing boat. There is a lovely nature reserve beside the lake where in springtime you can view the carp coming up river for breeding, frogs croaking away and even families of turtles - not to mention the incredible number of different birds and wild fowl - a peaceful and beautiful spot to wander through. For Golfers, there is the recently opened Terre Blanche Course, with 2 18 hole courses. Also within 30 minutes drive is the excellent St Endreol course with is Spa facilities for the non-golfers. More close to Fayence is the Domaine de Fayence with its excellent Aquadrome Spa - hydrotherapy at its best! You will be spoilt for choice if dining out - there is an excellent choice of all types of cuisine from a simple pizza to quality local cuisine to gourmet
