Villa Magalyne is a newly constructed luxury Provencal villa with a beautifully tiled swimmingpool, situated on the outskirts of the ancient hilltop village of Claviers, Var, in the heart of Provence. The villa occupies a very secluded position in 13000 m2 of land with mainly olive, oak and pine trees. It is adjacent to a natural forest. It is positioned approx. 1 km (10 min walk) from the village of Claviers where you will find a boulangerie, 2 restaurants, a bar and a small local shop. A host of activities are within easy reach incl. 2 golf courses, approx. 30 min away, canoeing, horse riding and of course skiing in winter. Many small villages with Provencal markets are within easy reach and the coastal resorts are about 40-60 min away. The accommodation has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite), a very large living/dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, utility room and separate toilet. Outside is a large covered terrace overlooking the pool and beautiful views to the south.

Claviers is an ancient Provencal hilltop village close to neighbouring villages like Bargemon, Callas, Seillans and Fayence. Resorts at the Cote d'Azur like Cannes, Frejus, Ste Maxime and St Tropez are within easy reach all less than an hours drive. Nice airport is approx. an hours drive away also. A nice alternative to get to St Tropez is to drive to Ste Maxime and go by boat from there. There are some lovely Provencal markets in the area like the one in Le Muy on Sundays and a smaller one on Thursdays, Callas on Saturdays, Claviers (small market) on Saturday morning and the famous St Tropez market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Several golf courses are nearby and the Gorges du Verdon is less than an hours drive to the north. Lac de St Cassien is only a 20-30 min. drive away.

    A refundable damage/breakage warranty deposit of £350.00/€500.00 is required when signing the rental agreement.

    The rent includes electricity, gas and water consumption except electricity for the winter period i.e. before 1st April and after 29th September.

A very well appointed house; the description was accurate, the pre-holiday administration smooth and the driving directions comprehensive.

Our holiday was pure relaxation after a busy year. For the second time, Villa Magalyne provided peaceful surroundings with a high standard of accommodation.

The nearby village offered casual dining when we didn't feel like cooking and a destination for an evening stroll to one or other of the bars.

The village shop is much improved but a car to go to the supermarket is an essential.

We will certainly be considering the house for future holidays.

Holiday in Villa Magalyne, France

Oh my gosh: What a surprise! We arived at the villa end of the day, and I have to say: It was really astonishing!

The environment, the road towards the villa, the small villages we passed, it al matched beautifully!

The villa itself: Super! So well decorated, huge fireplace, sittingroom and open kitchen, the attached terraces. This is what hey call: Living like God in France!

And everyting you need is there: Towels, kitchen stuff (even food and drinks were there to pass the first night/day). And it was clean, very clean indeed.

This is undoubtedly one of the best places I stayed for a long time. The pool, and not to forget the beautifull weather completed the feeling of luxury. And guess what: Ther's even wild Boars to spot in the shrubbery further down on the property.

Joyce and Alan, the owners who I met before are so friendly and helpful. I would realy like to reccommend a stay overhere to everyone who's seeking for peace, beautifull environment, very very nice decorated villas and beautifulll villages nearby, but also the vivid lifely places at the beach such as St Maxime with it's gorgious restaurants and beaches.

We'll be back again, that's for sure!

Wonderful holiday in this villa, beautiful position, lots of green/trees around and magnificent view. Indeed secluded but not far away from village of Clavier and other attractions.
It was more than it said on the tin, house was very clean, cosy, nicely furnished and I would certainly recommend it to my friends/family.
Lots of provencale markets to visit, beautiful villages and many nice restaurants of which many were very affordable!
I will definitely go back to this villa in the future.
