* The sleepy hamlet of Les Ousinières is part of the commune of Le Pradet, a medium-sized seaside town some 7 minutes away by car. Le Pradet has all shops and facilities you are likely to need, restaurants, bars, Friday market, supermarkets close by.
* La Garonne, a 10-minute walk from the house, along the sentier des douaniers, has a baker, restaurants, small grocer and chemist. Excellent early morning walk for breakfast croissants and coffee.
* Les Oursinières has one renowned gourmet restaurant, four other restaurants, an ice-cream parlour and bar.
* Small port of Les Oursinières, mooring for local fishing boats and small leisure craft.

It's easy to be perfectly happy staying put in Les Oursinières, but if you're curious to venture farther afield, you are perfectly placed to head north to the Gorges du Verdon, east to the Alps and Italy, west toward Marseille and the Camargue, via the entrancingly beautiful 'calanques' of Cassis, or south to the islands...we'd love to tell you more!
