Villa Tiipoto is a wonderful contemporary house, built on the hillside on the Corniche des iles d'Or above the village of Aiguebelle. The luxury modern villa is south facing and has stunning views over the sea and islands. Villa Tiipoto was built in 1968 by the architect le Corbisier for a wealthy Belgian family and was featured in the inaugural edition of the magazine la maison. The house is built on 3 levels and is of classic contemporary style with 15 metre long open plan living/dining room with Palmier and balconies to the main levels. Level 1 has entrance hall/reception room with decked balcony, master bedroom suite, super king size bed, bathroom with bath, shower, 2 basins, WC plus private sun terrace. Level 2 has 1 double bedroom and 1 twin, shower room and WC, living/dining room, kitchen and large main balcony. The lower level has the private 4th bedroom with king size bed, en-suite shower room and w.c. Outside are tiled pool, vast terraces, gardens and shaded boulle court

Situated in the area the Sunday Times calls the Cotes d'Azur 'undiscovered secret' this unique villa is located in Aiguebelle, between trendy St Tropez and le Lavandou. This unspoilt stretch of the French Riviera is famous for its golden beaches, breathtaking views and flower filled highways. The villa has private pool and panoramic views over the sea and islands. The house is situated above Jean-Blanc plage, about 5 minutes walk away, one of the 12 beaches of le Lavandou and certainly one of the quietest and most picturesque. There are beautiful coastal walks nearby, plus the coastal cycle route and many excellent local restaurants. The beautiful and wild Massif des Maures hills area few minutes away, with the classic provencal villages of Bormes les Mimosa, Gassin, Cogolin and Collobrieres all nearby. The house is ideally situated to explore the local Provence hills, local vineyards and visit St Tropez, Nice, Cannes and Monaco, and for the more adventurous the Gorge de Verdon

Notes: The swimming pool has its own large decked terrace with bar and banquette seating, which together with the upper terraces are furnished with ample tables, chairs and parasols, together with sunloungers, perfect for poolside sunbathing, alfresco drinks and dining, all with stunning sea views. The various terraces and balconies provide space for many people, affording several quiet spaces to sit, relax or wine and dine. The landscaped gardens are on several levels with a shaded boule court to the lower level. The terraces are planted with mature palms and shrubs and feature almond tree. We provide Egyptian cotton bed linen, bath, hand and pool towels, but ask that guests bring their own towels for the beach. Unlike many rental owners, we live in our house for a large part of the year and it is furnished with many classic items of contemporary furniture and lighting by Cassina, B&B Italia, Conran, Liberty and Desalto of Italy.

Your house is Nirvana like.

I never got back to you after our stay to say how much we enjoyed it - the house is undoubtedly the best we have stayed in and is a credit to both yourself and Le Corbisier! Hopefully we will be able to return at some stage in the future.

We've had a fantastic week in this gorgeous house...Your telescope gave us our first real glimpse of craters on the moon.

Breakfast and lunches on the terrace better than Hotel Splendido

We had a fabulous stay in your spectacular home. It was breathtaking.....enjoy the house as well as the pool and the unforgettable view
