From the pool and the house you can enjoy the beautiful views on green and rocky hillsides, covered with protected cork-oak trees. 4 Sandy beaches within 5 minutes! Le Rayol-Canadel has 4 quiet sandy beaches with sufficient parking places, bars, restaurants...and crystal-clear water. The house has recently been renovated, has a fully equipped kitchen and stand in 2,550 m2 of enclosed grounds and has a new private pool 8.50 x 4 m. It's quiet!!!!Extra apartment can be rented on demand: small living with pantry, dining table, satellite TV. Toilet, shower. 2 Bedrooms (12 m2 each, sleeps 3-4),covered terrace 27 m2. Le Rayol-Canadel is in fact a part of the French Rivièra wich is not yet discovered by mass tourism. If you want to visit more touristic places: Saint-Tropez, Saint-Maxim, Fréjus etc. are only between 30 and 45 minutes away and Cannes 60 minutes. Le Lavandou is 10 minutes and Hyères, 20 minutes. If you want, we can give you advice for things to do every day, to discover and enjoy this paradise.You will be amazed to come across one of the French Rivièra's most spectacular coastal panorama's. The immense Mediterranean Sea literally explodes into view. Bleu, bleu everywhere. Opposite, a group of lazy little islands basking in the sun, just waiting for you to disembark. The street, where Villa Vivace is situated, ends in a path, which can be the start of endless walks in the hills of the National Protected Forest 'Massif des Maures', one of the few places in the world where turtles live. Sometimes you can even find one in the garden. It's also a great place for mountain biking.

Notes to the rental rates

  • All prices are per week Saturday 4 pm to Saturday 10 am. 6 persons maximum (or 8 with the additional appartment. Family lettings only!
    No pets allowed.
    Prices include all linen kitchen- and bathroom towels, water and electricity (excessive usage will be charged). In case of electric heating or airco, electricity is payable against cost price (15 euro cent/Kwh).
    Please respect our dear neighbours, they all love this spot because of it,s tranquillity! No abnormal noise! (NO music outside the house. No loud music inside. No noisy use of swimming pool after 22.00.)
    If you want to party OK, please rent a house in St.Tropez!
    A 30% non-refundable deposit and a completed booking form are required to confirm the booking. The balance plus a security deposit of € 250,- is payable 8 weeks before the start of the holiday.
    Special prices for couples, long winter-lets and the price of the additional apartment: on demand.
  • The pool is yours only, so not shared!
    The extra appartment is never let to others. Only the guests that rent Villa Vivace, can rent the extra appartment...for parents, friends...
    The villa is well equiped, so don't bring too many things with you. In case of doubt, just contact us.
  • Over the past few weeks, we had many problems in getting e-mails send to the U.K.. we don't know why...our e-mails are absolutely virusfree! So if you use a spam-filter...or a cheap anti-virus programm offered by your internet provider...than it's maybe better to give us a short call (00 33 494 056 509 or 00 33 6 83 63 07 09)! or else you might think that we are rude people..not answering your enquiries....but it's your own or your internetproviders software blocking our e-mails to you.....

We live with our two children, Dave(12) and Sylvie(15) in our own villa on the same land, but on a lower level (with full privacy for all of us). We have our own pool, so the big pool is yours! If you have children about the same age, they can have a great time playing with our children (if they want to of course), so the parents can have a relaxed holiday as well! And if mum and dad want to have dinner without children, no problem, you can use baby-sitting service free, once a week! But most importantly we will respect your privacy 100% - you are our guests and we want you to have an unforgettable holiday. You don't have to visit the tourist-office; we will give you all the necessary information about the region and it's activities. Don't worry!!! Gardens of ' Domaine du Rayol'

A must to visit: Jardins du Domaine du Rayol ! These gardens form a sort of natural outdoor exhibition. The 'Conservatoire du Littoral' (Botanical Conservatory), which is now the owner, has put the landscape gardener Gilles Clément in charge of restoring and re-designing the site: 12 acres of flora from Mediterranean climates from all over the world. Mediterranean carob trees, Australian acasias, South African strelitzias, Mexican agaves, Asian bamboo, New Zealand linseed and Chilean palm trees all in a truly magnificent setting. During summer you have the unique opportunity of diving in the adjacent underwater garden!Another must to visit: the islands 'Iles d'Or'. Especially national parc 'Port-Cros' (no cars allowed...). Just take the boat in Le Lavandou and experience the beauty of these islands and their underwater flora and fauna. Don't forget to take your mask and snorkel! Thanks to its microclimat, Le Rayol-Canadel catches the most sun-hours in France!!!

Swimming, sailing, snorkelling, sailboarding, pedalo's, diving. Thanks to it's microclimat, Le Rayol-Canadel catches the most sun-hours in France!!! On the beaches of Le Rayol, Canadel and Pramousquier are life-guards in season. Good snorkelling along the rocks. The EC tests rate this cove the cleanest water in this part of the Mediterranean. Warm enough for swimming from May to October. Canadel has an active diving centre with instruction and all gear available. Sailing schools in Pramousquier and Cavalière, with organised lessons for beginners to the experienced with a variety of boats (cats, 470's, 420's etc.) for hire. In Cavalière also the possibility of water-skiing and parasailing. Tennis, golf, riding. Lots of tennis courts in Rayol and Cavalière. Golf courses in Le Lavandou (practice) and Valcros/La Londe (18 holes). Riding near La Mole and La Croix Valmer with beautiful tracks in the Maures Forest. Endless hiking tracks start at our frontdoor!!!

For the children

For the children...Lots of sand and water!!! But also: a beautiful mini-golf (15 min) in an exotic garden, mini-harbour (5 min) where children can be captain on their own real boat, 'Niagara' swimmingparc (15 min), with 7 water slides, jacuzzi and Turkish bath, tropical bird-zoo (20 min), 'Kiddy-parc' (25 min) small attraction-park, O.K.Coral western-town (60 min) live western shows and fairground for children and lots of things more!!! Many holiday homes on the French Rivièra are build very close to the noisy D559. Villa Vivace isn't! Trafic cannot be heard up here...just relax!
