The villa is on a private estate at Cap Negre, with night security gates, on the coast, just 500 metres from a superb beach at Cavaliere about 8kms to the east of Le Lavandou and 35 kms to the west of St Tropez. It has a spectacular south west view over the coastline towards Cap Benat. The property nestles into the trees allowing plenty of shade but has sunny terraces and large swimming pool (9x5m).

Cavaliere
The 2 km sandy beach is just 5 minutes walk away through the private estate protected with security gates. On the beach there are plenty of watersports facilities including sailing, windsurfing, jet skis, etc. There are numerous bars, cafes and restaurants and a lively bar/nightclub. At the end of the beach (10minutes walk) is a small Spar supermarket which sells fresh fruit and vegetables, bread and patisserie, poulet rotis, alcohol etc. and across the road is an excellent all year patisserie, plus pizzeria.
Le Lavandou
Le Lavandou is just 8 kms away and is a pretty town with marina, shops, bars and restaurants, long esplanade with boule areas; there are four supermarkets, pharmacies, post office, police etc. Lots of restaurants including our favourite - Chez Zete - open all year and always frequented by the locals. The hillside village of Bormes Les Mimosa is about 10 kms away and is a spectacular village with wonderful views, winding pedestrian streets, small shops, and many more excellent bars and restaurants - try Lou Poulid Cantoun - sitting outside in glorious surroundings.
St Tropez
St Tropez is just 35 kms away. It takes about 45 minutes by car to get there due to the windy coastal road but is a 'must-visit once' place just to take in the sights - pretty village, overrun by tourists (like us), artists, eccentrics, models, shops, exclusive restaurants, and the yachts ... people watching is the favourite! However do take care of your valuables
