Photos and Description of this Le Thoronet holiday villa 4 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, equipped for up to 9 people

The house is located at the heart of the VAR region near the village LE THORONET. Access is easy being 8 minutes from the motorways (toll) A8/A57 and only 1 hour from Marseille and Nice airports and 45 minutes from Hyeres/Toulon airport. All three airports are served by direct flights from the UK and the rest of Europe. The house is situated in a lovely garden of 1,5 acre with oak trees, olive trees and oleanders, with a large swimming pool and pool house. You will find table tennis, and for the younger children a sandpit and swings. To the front of the house you will find a very large tiled south facing terrace protected from the harsh sun with 'cannis'. This gives you access to the main living room of 48 m2 with comfortable sofas. The kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave and all the necessary cookware for gourmet cooking. You will find two bedrooms on the main floor and two other bedrooms below with outside acces, very handy for two couples or families.

The house is located at the heart of the VAR region near the village LE THORONET better known for its Romanesque Cistercian 12th century abbey. The lovely village of Le Thoronet is located at just over a mile from the house, you will find a baker, a butcher, 2 grocery shops, a paper shop and a hairdresser and you will also find 3 small restaurants and terraces to eat outdoor. The house is located approximately 32 miles west of Frejus and 30 miles north of St.Tropez and Ste.Maxime. Access is easy being 5 minutes from the motorways (toll) A8/A57 and only 1 hour from Marseille and Nice airports and 45 minutes from Hyeres/Toulon airport. All three airports are served by direct flights from the UK and the rest of Europe. This a perfect area for walking and if you are a canoer you'll love it. Canoeing among the wonderful protected natural surroundings of the river Argens is a real pleasure. Fishing and Horse riding are also available nearby and the marvellous Gorges du Verdon are a must.

  • It is prefered that you rent the house for two weeks during High season but one week can be negotiated.

    First payment on reservation € 600 on receipt of this amount your reservation will be accepted.

    Payment of the balance + deposit € 600.00 two (2) months before the start of the rental period.

    The cleaning fees, the upkeep of the pool, the electricity and the sheets and towel will be charged at € 200.00 a week all included.


    All electricity and water are included in the rental price.

    We can supply Sheets and Towels.

  • You have a full bathroom on the first level with separate toilet. On the second level you have a shower room with toilet which is shared by the two bedrooms with separate entrance door. Another toilet is available in the Pool House and a shower is also available by the pool.

  • There are 4 bedrooms with double beds, some with antique furniture. One of the bedroom with the extra large double bed, can be transformed into two single beds. A cot and an additional single bed are also available in bedroom 4 You will find two bedrooms on the first level sharing a bathroom and the two other bedrooms are located on the lower level with two terraces and direct access to the pool. As the house is divided in two levels with separate entrances it makes it very suitable for two families. There is a shower room downstairs and upstairs a full bathroom. Toilets on each of the two levels.

Notes: The house is situated in a lovely garden of 1,5 acre with oak trees, olive trees and oleanders, with a large swimming pool and pool house. You will find table tennis, and for the younger children a sandpit, swings and a Wendy house. The swimming pool is located slightly away from the house. Kidney shaped it measures 12m by 6 m and is equipped with an alarm following the French legal norms. Next to the pool, you have a very well equipped pool house containing a separate toilet and equipped kitchen and dining area. You will also find eight pool loungers and an additional outside table with chairs to eat outside. There is also an outside shower next to the pool. The upkeep and cleaning of the pool will be attended to twice weekly by a professional.
