'Villa Valentine' is a Provencal style villa, on the south slope of the medieval village Montauroux which benefits from a panoramic view of the valley and the Esterel mountains along the Mediterranean sea. The terraced, flowery garden with its private swimming pool is exposed to sunshine from morning till sunset. The villa has on two sides a partly covered large terrace with barbeque, ideal for outdoor morning and evening meals. On the lower floor is the fully equipped kitchen with direct access to the terrace, the dining room for up to 8 persons, the living room with comfortable seating and fireplace and the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The upper floor with the main entrance from the enclosed parking has two separate double bedrooms, shower room, separate WC and a small laundry room. All bedrooms has southward (valley view) facing windows and beds with spring mattresses 3x6½ ft(90x200cm). Easy access by car to the enclosed parking for up to six cars.

The medieval villages Seillans, Callian, Tourette, Fayence offer genuine Provencal atmosphere with its narrow streets, squares and interresting buildings. The Lake S:t Cassien with all sorts of watersport is only 10 minutes away. The area is also an ideal base for golf with more than 10 courses within easy reach.

The lake S:t Cassien with sweet clear water is reached within 10 minutes and offers all sorts of water-sport. The Mediterranean sandy beaches are less than19 miles (30km) away at Cannes and Frejus/St Raphael. The nearby glider airport at Fayence offers gliders passing over the sky. The new and luxury Terre Blanche Golf and Hotel resort with its 36 holes and spa is within visible distance from the villa.

We had a wonderful week here in July 2009. The villa, gardens and pool are all of a very high standard with lovely views. The area is perfect with plenty of small attractive villages and is an easy drive to the coast.

Villa Valentine is a haven of peace and tranquility situated within walking distance of a typical Provencal village. The house is well appointed and comfortable with a beautiful garden and large swimming pool. We have rented other properties in the area but now return to Villa Valentine year after year. It is our prefered holiday home.
