It provides year-round seclusion yet easy access to Nice, the beaches of the Côte d'Azur and the hills and villages of Provence. It has attractive mature gardens of over half an acre, a private pool with terrace and dining area and a boule pitch. Accommodation includes a large lounge/dining room, two double bedrooms opening onto a balcony, one twin bedroom and a spacious, fully fitted kitchen. There is one bathroom, one shower room and three WC's.

Notes to the rental rates

• 5% discount for 2 week rentals throughout the year. Gas, electricity, heating, cleaning, bed linen and bathroom towels included. Beach towels available on request.
  Booking periods run from Saturday to Saturday from April to September. Mid-week changeover possible October to March. So that the villa may be cleaned thoroughly before guests arrive the latest departure time is 10 am and the earliest arrival time is 4.00 pm.
  
• Acceptance of any reservation is subject to the receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total rental cost. The balance to be paid 4 weeks before arrival date.

More information about the property

We have recently purchased the villa and have put a lot of thought and work into making it as comfortable as possible. All the furniture, including the beds, is new. All bedrooms and the lounge are south facing and provide incredible views, especially of the sunrise over the Esterel hills! There are several sitting and dining areas inside and outside so you can choose whether you want to sit and eat inside, by the pool, on the terrace, or on the covered terrace. The mature garden has many exotic plants such as yucca and aloe vera and a variety of trees including olives, oaks and palms. The property has its own boule pitch built by the previous owner.

Interesting events to see and places to visit

The villa is 3.5 km from Montauroux which has several shops and restaurants and there is a large supermarket less than a 10 minute drive away. A short drive away is Lac St Cassien where you can swim or hire canoes and pedaloes or just enjoy a good meal in a lakeside restaurant! Within a 20 minute drive are the ancient hill-top villages of Fayence, Callian, Tourettes, Mons and St Cézaire and the town of Grasse, famous for its perfume industry. There are several beaches within a 40 minute drive including Antibes, Cannes, Ste Maxime, St Aygulf and Agay. An hour’s drive will take you to St Tropez, Monaco, the spectacular Gorge du Verdon (the deepest gorge in Europe) Lac de Ste Croix (the largest man made lake in Europe)and ski slopes. The surrounding area is excellent for walking, water sports and activities such as gliding and horse riding. There are several special events in the area including the Nice Festival, the Cannes Film Festival, the Monte Carlo Rally and the Monaco Grand Prix.

Other information

We provide pillows, continental quilts and bedlinen for all the beds together with one hand towel and one bath towel per guest. Beach towels are also available. The bedlinen is changed weekly. The villa will be thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival. We have a child's cot, but no bedlinen, and two fold up beds, with bedding, which are available on request.
