Notes to the rental rates

• Take advantage of BA, BMI, FlyBe Ryanair & Easyjet flights to Nice/Toulon/Marseille. Also Eurostar/TGV to Avignon/St Raphael. Second week discounts are available throughout the season.
  
• Rental is confirmed on receipt of a 30% deposit and rental includes key-holder reception and end of stay clean. Linen & bath towels are optional and can be provided at a rate of 25 euros/person (2008). High chair, cot and stair gate are all available on-site. Pool and beach towels are not provided. Pool open May-Sept (inc.).
  
• Please note that rates of exchange, payment currency and contract are agreed at the time of reservation and are binding on both parties. A returnable security deposit of £350 / 500euros is required to have been received before arrival. Open telephone line (charged 'at cost' with France Telecom 'web fact' invoice) is payable on departure or deductible from deposit. Broadband/Wireless access is available. We reserve the right to deduct an excess cleaning charge from the security deposit in exceptional cases where the property is not left in a reasonable state.

Villa situation

The south-facing villa is conveniently situated above the village with it's own drive & off-road parking, protected by electric gates at the entrance to the domaine. A natural hillside garden falls away from the terrace and pool areas, providing access to a quiet service road leading to the village and beach a short 7 minute walk away. The villa is recently decorated and fully furnished in a clean contempory style with the pool having automatic self-cleaning and requiring only weekly supervision.

Agay

The wide sandy bay provides deep anchorage for passing yachts but avoids the downsides associated with some other local resorts. The shoreline boasts only discrete shops, cafes and restaurants preserving the best of the beautiful sandy beach. Activities abound with tennis and water-based sports (sailing, skiing, wakeboarding, diving etc.) in Agay, riding and golf nearby in Valescure and walking/biking or riding also locally in the scenic Esterel. The resort is perfectly positioned on the local train and bus routes from Nice and Cannes and just 15 minutes from the thriving towns of St Raphael & Frejus [TGV & Motorail ] with all their practical amenities, restaurants, harbour, ports, and casino. It is also mid-way between St Tropez (accessible by wed. evening restaurant boat direct from Agay) and Cannes while just 50 minutes (63km) from the airports at Nice [BA/BMI/Easijet/FlyBe] and Toulon or Marseille (1hr) [BA&RyanAir].

St Raphael, Frejus & The Cote d'Azur

The town of St Rapheal, with its proximity to Frejus provides the contrast of Roman and Art Nouveau architecture. The 'vieux port', marina, old town and palm promenade all feature, with the waterfront providing a backdrop for the daily fish market, the cafe society and the buzzing nightlife. The daily boats across the bay to St Tropez allow variety especially in peak season when the roads are packed (weekly also from Agay!!). This is the ideal base on the Cote d’Azur from which to explore the beauty of inland Provence at Draguinan, the chic resorts of Cannes, St Tropez and Grimaud, the famous perfumeries at Grasse or the historical city of Nice.

Golf Information:

The area provides exceptional golf at Valescure just 10 minutes from the villa. Two 18-hole courses, two 9-hole courses and a golf academy make this ideal for all standards. Golf de Valescure, built in 1895, is the Var's oldest course (5th oldest in France!) A traditional 'British-style' course of 5061 meters and par 68, this course hosts many amateur and pro-am events. It also provides excellent food/drink from its colonial style clubhouse. Golf Esterel is an international course designed by the American Robert Trent-Jones (senior). It is 5921 meters, par 71, built in 1989 and has hosted 2 professional European events won by Ian Woosnam and Susan Studwiek. Green fees are approx. 65 euros (2008).
