An idyllic spot on the beach! The thirties’ typically Provencial villa Lou Crémadou has been renovated in 2006. The villa has private and direct access to the beach; it is located in an exceptional site and has a magnificent view of a nearby island. The villa is 1075sq ft and is suitable for 8 persons. On the ground floor, there is a TV lounge with DVD player, stereo station, CD & cassette player, radio, USB slot MP3,dining room, equipped kitchen (ceramic hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and vacuum cleaner). On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms air conditioning with sea view, 1 street-side bedroom air conditioning, 2 bathroom toilet. There is a garden with terrace of 3200sq feet, a barbecue and garden furniture. There is a garage and it is possible to park on the side of the road behind the villa. The depths of the sea around the island of ‘Vieilles’, the posidonias, the submarine caves and the rock fish are breathtaking. Moreover, your children will spend an excellent time at this place! At 0.6 mile from the house, you can take a path that will lead you to ‘l’Estérel’, at the top of the “Cap Roux”. There you will have a panoramic south-facing view of the Maritime Alps and its relief overlooking the sea, and on the west side, you will discover the “Porquerolles” islands and Saint Tropez.   • Location will be from Saturday 3 pm. until Saturday 10 am. Electricity and water are included in the rental rate during summer time (from June until October). In winter time, you will have to pay an additional charge for heating. Cleaning charges are 150 euros. A down payment of 30 % of the rental rate is required upon reservation. A refundable deposit of 1500 euros should be paid upon arrival, you can pay the refundable deposit in the currency of your country.

Futher information: The villa is on the sea side of the “Corniche d’Or”. The road is behind the villa Exposed Southern with a large terrace of 100 m2 where long chairs are at your disposal. Going down towards the sea, you will find another terrace of 30 m2 and its external shower after the sea bathing. The access to the sea is direct without having to leave the property, the beach is exclusively reserved to you. You will be able at all times day to have a splendid sight on the sea and you will benefit of good moments, you are in the paradise. Both my wife and I work in London, have busy lives and just wanted a peaceful week lounging about in the South of France. We found this by renting Lou Cremadou for a week.

The property is clean, spacious, well equipped, with the most amazing views out to 'Bird Island' and you are not over looked by the neighbours.

You will need a car as it is at least 2km to local amenities in Agay which is a quiet village, with sandy beach, a couple of bars and a couple of good restaurants.

The villa is about 20/30 mins drive (winding roads) from St Rapael which is a large town which has everything you require (even the overnight train from Paris stops at St Raphael at 7am) and St Tropez is 30/40 mins away.

I have travelled to this area of South of France many times and this Villa is perfect for people who want to be away from the noise and away from tourists. Also, it is perfect as long as you are not expecting to walk to all the bars, restaurants and the night life.

If you are a cyclist, then take your bike because it is the perfect place to do you cycling, especially first thing in the morning whilst cycling along the sea front.

Like a lot of places in the South of France, make sure you have your mosquito repelent.

My wife and I spent a week at this villa in May 2007. We thoroghly enjoyed our time - The owner made us feel so welcome... He introduced us to the local area and was available for any questions we had. The villa was spacious and bright, and we loved living right over the sea. All of the facilities were in perfect condition, and we found this to be a wonderful location from which to explore the Cote d'Azur. We will definitely go back again!!

We stayed at the Lou Cremadou last week of June/first week of July 2007.
We have 3 small children (at the time all under the age of 4) and my wife's parents came with us. The location of the villa is perfect, right on the sea shore, with private access to the clear blue water. The house was clean, well maintained. It seemed that everything that we needed was there (bbq, dishwasher, stuff in the kitchen, on the terrace, etc.). Both Pierre and Florence are very very friendly and are a pleasure to talk to.
Although, we normally do not do this (almost as a matter of rule) but we are coming back to the property again this year.
Nice, Cannes, St Tropez are a short drive away (although I woudl advise against driving to St Tropez, unless you want to spend time in traffic).
There is a sand beach within a walking distance from the house, if you want to be on the beach with other people.
It is a wonderful place, Gautiers are a lovely couple and the two weeks made my wife wish to stay for a third.

We have been fortunate enough to spend our summer holidays at Lou Cremadou for the past two years. When you walk through the gate you enter your own little private corner of Paradise. The garden is magnificent and you can eat your meals overlooking the Mediterranean before wandering down the steps to enjoy a dip from the bottom steps. If you are feeling really energetic you can swim over to the nearby island.
The house itself is very comfy and well equipped. The house shelters the garden from any noise from the road.
The views from the house and garden would be hard to beat.
There are plenty of little shops and restaurants in the nearby towns which are only a short car ride away and bigger shopping can be done at one of the Hypermarkets which are a bit further out in Frejus or even Cannes.
The owners are extremely welcoming and ensure that everything is in place for a perfect holiday.
