Les Coquellicots is an old style, luxurious detached house of immense charm and character. It has stunning sea views with a rocky mountain backdrop. The house has four large double bedrooms, two bathrooms and two shower rooms. There are in all 5 WCs. The built up area of the house 300 square metres and it is in a plot of almost 2,000 square metres. There are gardens to the back, side and front of the house. As the house is built into the rocks of the Esterel, all the views are to the front which are over the swimming pool and then the sea. The house is south-facing.

Les Coquellicots, Antheor, Var, France. Antheor is a small village on the coast between St Raphael and Cannes. Les Coquellicots is in a small cul-de-sac off the coast road which has 15 detached houses in it. The red Esterel rocks are immediately behind the house and the sea to the front of it. The garden of the house in front is all that is between the coast road and Les Coquellicots. The nearest airport is Nice and the journey time between the airport and the house is about 45 minutes. Market There is a local market in Agay on Wednesdays and in St Raphael the market days are Tuesday and Friday, although the municipal market for food is open every day, including Sunday morning. There is a daily fish market by the Old Harbour There are two large markets in Cannes which are open each day, save for the antique market and flea market, which are open once a week. Further afield there is the flower market in Nice, which also holds a weekly antique market.

The area of Anthéor: Anthéor offers you beautiful creeks with either sandy or rocky beaches. For larger sandy beaches and beach clubs you can either go to Agay (7 mn drive) direction Saint Raphaël or to Théoule, direction Cannes(20 mn drive). Both beaches have excellent beach clubs where you can enjoy sun, watersports and delicious lunches. In Anthéor you have a small supermarket during high season, for further shopping you can go into Agay or Saint Raphaël.

Thing's to do: There is enough for everyone. Of course you can enjoy the relaxation at the villa and the pool. For more active ones there's diving, great walks (also guided!) in the Esterel mountains, cycling, various watersports etc. In summer there's an evening market every day of the week, both in Agay as well as in Saint Raphaël. There are great restaurants in the area (ask us!) and of course also clubs, pubs and for the children there are either waterparks or amusement parks. The Var as well as the Alpes Maritimes are beautiful areas for sightseeing and to stroll on provencal markets. Please don't hesitate to contact us for any ideas for a great day out in the Var or the Alpes Maritimes!

Golf: The various very nice golf courses nearby the villa makes this property also a great winter holiday home! The 2 biggest golf courses are within a 15 min drive (Golf de Valescure and Golf de l'Esterel). Villa les Coquellicots is perfectly heated and since it is so nicely decorated you could even spend there a merry Christmas!
