You can enjoy the peace of the countryside, yet 5 mins walk to the charming Saracen hilltop village of La Garde Freinet with its twice weekly markets and good choice of restaurants and local shops. St Tropez and the coast are only 20 kms as are some of the best beaches and coastal walks. The house is set on the upper terrace of an old vineyard, facing south and south-west. There is easy access to the house from the lane with ample parking. Good walking to be had along quiet wooded tracks close by. Well furnished with antique and modern furniture, our spacious accommodation is light and airy with Provencal character. You can enjoy sun until sunset dining al fresco in the terraced gardens and swim late into the night with garden and pool lights setting off the pine, chestnut and cork oak trees.

Notes to the rental rates

• Our prices are based on a two week booking. A supplement of £30 per person will be charged on single week bookings due to extra linen change and additional changeover cost. Changeover day is usually Saturday but arrangement can be made for arrival on other days if this is in agreement with the owner. Prices for dates not shown above can be quoted on request. Heating for out of season months will be charged extra. Signed contract to be returned with 25%deposit to secure booking. Balance plus ?250 breakage deposit due 8 weeks before arrival date.

For skiing enthusiasts, Isola 2000m is situated north of Nice about 3 hours drive away from the house.
