Staying at Villa Parasol was a wonderful experience and we enjoyed our time. The owner's personal attention and follow up were especially appreciated and made us feel as if we were staying at friends house rather than an impersonal hotel.
Key thing to mention is that there is no bathtub - only two showers. Normally not an issue (and clear in the property description although i seemed to miss it), but as we had a 10 month old - it proved challenging. There was a portable baby bath but somehow our little one never took to it.
Other than that the villa was perfect and just what we needed. Fairly easy walking distance into town (a bit of a hill at the property end), a fantastic ambiance in the outdoor area (especially at night), and a well equipped kitchen.
The owner provided a fantasticly detailed property and area guide and there was a book of nearby attractions that had been built over time by both the owner and previous guests - a great addition.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your lovely comments.Each winter we treat the villa to something new, last year it was redecorated, this winter we will update the bathrooms. When we bought the house we had them take out the baths and install only shower rooms, however we may review this but put in one of those deep style baths and still have the ability to have a proper shower rather than stepping up into a bath...not sure yet,
