Sainte-Maxime, overlooking the Gulf of Saint Tropez, is a chic seaside resort. The marina and beach give the town its Provence charm. The house is a short 800 metre walk, (15 mins) or drive (2 mins) from the town and local beaches. The bustling town has numerous restaurants offering a variety of provencal dishes and other styles of cooking to suit all tastes and pockets. There is an array of shops and an abundance of street cafes to enjoy a coffee or aperitif. Enjoy the evenings with live music in one of the many bars or take the boat to Saint Tropez, a 15 minute ride. During high season enjoy one of the many outdoor concerts and firework displays (every Sunday) that take place on the beach. There are wonderful activities for all ages: Arbre adventure, swinging through the trees on metal cables, a huge water adventure park and sea/beach within walking distance from the villa. Hiking, horse riding, sailing, boat hire. Excellent location for teens

Notes to the rental rates

  • Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday, winter short stay breaks available at 70% of weekly rental. Booking deposit 25% of the rental with balance payable 6 weeks before rental commences. For bookings within 8 weeks of rental payment required in full. Security deposit of £350 payable with final payment. Linen included, electricity (is charged for during the low season, only chargeable in summer if in excess of normal usage, switch off air conditioning when not required.). Check in time 4pm onwards, check out by 10am. Other arrangements can be made depending on incoming guests. Phone available for incoming calls and wireless Internet broadband, which has a strong signal and can be used anywhere in the house.

The bathrooms were originally designed with baths but were redesigned as really good shower rooms and full vanity and sink area. There are two additional rooms that house the toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs both next to the bathrooms.

All beds are of a very good quality and are fairly firm. The double beds are 5 feet wide, the single beds 3 feet wide. All sheets and bath towels are provided. please bring your own beach / pool towels. Wireless network means that you can use your laptop anywhere in the house.

Golf (set of clubs available for use), Tennis (some rackets available for use), Boating (cold box available), Aqua park (Slides galore, 1 min by car, 4mins bike, 8mins walk) Outdoor adventure park (Steel ropes attached to trees, harness is attached to you and off you go...kids love it (1 minute by car, 5min by bike or a 10 minute walk), Biking, Walking, Fishing, Horse riding, all within 5-10mins of the villa. Suitability: Not suitable for children under 4 or the elderly/in-firmed. The heated pool has a security alarm system conforming to the new French 'Raffarin' law. A fantastic property set in the hillside, just above St Mamime. Feels very spacious with everything you could possibly wish for on a family holiday. Very well equipped kitchen, and the layout with two bedrooms and bathroom downstairs and also upstairs works very well for two families sharing. Outside pool area fantastic, with sun loungers, chairs and now even an ouside kitchen. Every possible thing that you could need is catered for in this villa. A friendly housekeeper will meet you on arrival along with a welcome pack of goodies. We have returned numerous times to this villa and intend to do so again.
