The traditional Provencal-style villa is situated on a country lane and set in more than an acre of olive trees. It is located a short five-minute drive from the charming and lively Provencal village of Salernes, with its excellent selection of cafés and restaurants.

The property, which offers comfortable accommodation for up to nine, has a large swimming pool (6 x 12 metres) with several covered terraces for dining or relaxing in the shade. There is a built-in barbecue in a covered poolside terrace. The villa has four large bedrooms and two bath/shower rooms. The separate pool-side studio, which is usually used as a 'day-room', has a shower and WC.

Salernes has many features typical of villages in Provence. There is a good selection of cafes, restaurants and bars and you will definitely want to visit the lively Sunday market under the tall and leafy plane trees. The area is famous for its ceramics and there are many studios and shops around the village. Within a few km is Tourtour, known as the 'village in the sky' with its panoramic views and a variety of restaurants and shops. Also close by is the village of Sillans-la-Cascade where you can take a relaxing stroll through fields and woods to the impressive waterfall.

Surrounding area: There are many other nearby villages to visit, all with something of interest. The Gorges du Verdon and Lake St Croix which offer swimming, canoeing and walking in breathtaking scenery are only 25 minutes away. The Mediterranean and sandy beaches are also about 50 minutes to the south at Les Issambres, Frejus or St. Maxime and it’s just a little further to St Tropez. The region has many interesting chateaux, abbeys, wine domains, art exhibitions and frequent local markets.

Access : The main auto route, the A8, is only 30 minutes away so Nice, Cannes, Aix en Provence and Marseille are all just over an hour’s drive. Italy is an easy day's outing and so are the picturesque islands just off the coast from Le Lavandou or Hyeres.
