La Cabiscolle ticked all the boxes for us:large pool, quiet location within walking distance of a village, generous accommodation, unspoilt views and with wifi Internet.
We were a group of 8 adults covering 3 generations. The convenient layout of the ground floor bedrooms, kitchen and living room, all opening onto their own terraced areas, allowed everyone their own personal space and beautiful view. The Provencal terracotta flooring throughout is attractive, practical and in keeping with the furnishings. You are walking into a home at La Cabiscolle, not a show house. It offers a comfortable, relaxed feel, is flooded with natural light and has more than the basic necessities for your holiday.Two of the bathrooms have been recently refurbished and plans are in place to renovate the kitchen.
The agent who oversees the letting of the villa was very helpful and prompt in dealing with the odd niggles that arose. She took more than just a detached business interest in the letting and was most approachable, informative and understanding.
We all loved our stay at La Cabiscolle. It's a must for those seeking an 'away-from-it-all' holiday and who dream of ending the day sipping a glass of wine outdoors before a wood-burning barbeque fire and magical sunsets.
