The garden is walled/fenced with patios and terraces. 4.3 metre high ceilings and the large shuttered windows ensure an airy environment even in the height of summer! Between Cannes and St Tropez - on the Corniche - 300 days of sunshine in the year! It's even drier & sunnier at this side of the Esterels than at Cannes. With so much to do on the doorstep, it's hard to drag oneself away from the area - but - the wonderful scenery is just breathtaking - combined with the gorgeous food and wines - paradise!. Try a boat trip to St Tropez, Cannes, Nice, Monte Carlo, etc is a wonderful way to pass a day - gaze at the passing 'beautiful people' in their $$$$$$ yachts, shop, beach... . Take the train to any of the costal towns thro' to Italy - shopping at the weekly markets, lunching, sightseeing, etc. Local shops (1km) include a fantastic fishmonger, wine shop, small supermarket, restaurants,etc. Whatever type of holiday you want - a quiet family holiday, lazing around the villa and swimming in the sea across the road - watersports - golf - horse riding - sightseeing - nightlife - serious shopping - fine dining - casinos - THIS IS THE PLACE

PAYMENT:
Payment in Euros only.
30% of the rental rate is required to confirm booking. The balance is required 8 weeks prior to commencement of your rental. A Security Deposit of 800 Euros is required at this time also. This will be refunded within one month of your departure. Full details are noted on the Booking Form, which I will forward you.

| Notes: | THE POOL IS THE MEDITERRANEAN - JUST ACROSS THE ROAD! During the months of May -October, it is wonderful to swim in the sea! We provide complimentary basic necessities - condiments, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, juice, bottle of wine, etc. Cleaning materials are also stocked as well as dishwasher & washing machine products. All towels including beach towels (6) are provided. End of stay clean (4 hours) is included in the rental rate. Extra hours will be charged. Full details are noted on the Booking Form which I will forward when you click the 'ENQUIRE NOW' button. The garden is private and is safe for children & animals - it is surrounded by walls & fence and has a locked gate. The gorgeous roof terrace has large dining table (seats 8+); 8 dining chairs & 4 sun loungers. The breakfast terrace has a table & 6 chairs. The BBQ terrace has a table & 8 chairs. A safe is provided for your valuables. |
THE AREA
The Corniche d'Esterel is truly beautiful without the commercialisation of the Nice - Cannes area. The coastal road from Cannes has wonderful scenery & many fantastic viewing points. Antheor is the residential district of Agay. The villa is about 1km from Agay. Renoir & Van Gogh amongst others found their inspiration here! There are so many things to do - it is definitely one of the 'seven wonders of the world'! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Activities - boat, bike, quad, organised walking trips, golf..... We will help you with any queries. The villa is well stocked with local & Provencal info brochures & the Tourist Office in Agay has a multitude of suggestions to while away months of holidays.

Parc Zoologique de Frejus: Established in 1971 on 50 acres of natural Mediterranean woodland. Les Bateaux Blues Saint Raphael: daily trips along the coast. Themepark Aquatica - Frejus: Waterpark aquarium - Marineland at Antibes: aquarium & dolphin shows, etc. Aquavision d'Agay: Underwater viewing trip in glass bottom boats. Grand Canyon du Lac Verdon:The French Grand Canyon - spectacular views with the river Verdon running along the bottom of the gorge. Walking & or cycling in the Esterels - organised trips if you like. The paths are very well signposted for independent enjoyment - magnificent scenery with views from St Tropez to Antibes!!! Horse racing at Cagnes-sur-Mer: a great day out - see the website (www.cagnes.fr & click on the link for the Hippodrome) for the season programme,. PADI diving courses available near Dramont (3km away). Snorkelling is wonderful along the coast - just cross the road & in you go!!!

Winter is a gorgeous time on the Cote d'Azur - with more than 300 days of sunshine! Staying at our villa gives you the opportunity to satisfy many holiday requirements! Simply laze & swim in the Med - walk, cycle, sail, boat, golf (see below under Golf Details), ski (see Ski Details), zoos & theme parks, shop, dine - the list is endless! Walking & cycling in the Esterel mountains is a delightful experience. There are organised sunrise, mid day & sunset walks with a guide & complimentary refreshments. The trails are very well signposted for independent exploring.

Skiing Information:
The French Riviera is not only famous for its coastline - the nearby mountain villages and ski resorts have gained in popularity over the years! Guaranteed sunshine, snow and mountain peaks reaching 3000 metres in altitude - within 1-2 hours drive! If you don't want to drive, there is a daily/weekly bus from Nice airport to most of the resorts. There are ski & boot hire facilities at all the resorts. GRENOLIERES (1400 - 1800 metres). VALESCURE GOLF COURSE: is 5- 10 min from the villa. Created during the last century, designed by Lord Ashcomb, Valescure is the oldest course in the Var, and the sixth to exist in France. 5061 metres in length and designed similar to British courses. The Riviera Open and the Valescure Amateur Grand Prix are two major competitions that take place on the course. 18 Holes, 35 Practice Holes, Handicap required.
