It faces Mount Negre, the highest point of the Grand Luberon Mountains and has a truly rural setting amidst fragrant lavender fields, orchards, wooded hills and lush green valleys and offers tranquility, brilliant skies and pure air. The small, quiet hill-top village of St Martin De Castillon can be reached in approximately five minutes and the larger town of Apt is just 10 minutes away. Accommodation includes : Kitchen, Dining Room, Salon, 3 Bedrooms (2 twin, 1 double) and parking for 2 vehicles (maximum). Gite is equipped with : Fridge/Freezer, Cooker, Dish-washer, Micro-wave, Kettle, Toaster, Washing Machine, Sofa, DVD and Video. Terrace has garden furniture and Barbeque. Guests can benefit from shared use (occupants of other Gites) of the south-facing swimming pool (10m x 4m). Pets will only be allowed by prior arrangement with the owners.

Accommodation includes : Kitchen, Dining Room, Salon, 3 Bedrooms (2 twin - one of unique design incorporating original stonework fabrication of the building and 1 double) and parking for 2 vehicles (maximum). Gite is equipped with : Fridge/Freezer, Cooker, Dish-washer, Micro-wave, Kettle, Toaster, Washing Machine, Sofa, DVD and Video. Terrace has garden furniture and Barbeque. Guests can benefit from shared use (occupants of other Gites) of the south-facing swimming pool (10m x 4m). For obvious safety reasons children may only use the pool under adult supervision. Pets will only be allowed by prior arrangement with the owners.

The larger town of Apt has four supermarkets, many shops, restaurants and boasts a large vibrant weekly Market, is just 10 minutes away. The Luberon is a beautiful region, rich in colour and outstanding natural beauty, fragrant lavender, sunflowers, olives, truffles, orchards, vineyards, wooded hills, lush green valleys, austere white limestone hills and ochre-coloured villages. It also has a long association with the worlds of History (ancient forts, spectacular abbeys, Roman architecture), Art (Van-Gough, Cezzane, Renoir), and Literature (Daudet, Pagnol, Voltaire and more recently Peter Mayle). The Luberon offers a wide range of activities, from exploring the many markets.
