Situated at the foot of Mont Ventoux, in a beautiful wine and fruit growing area, Villa St Isabelle is a beautiful, newly built, 2 bedroom gite, making it ideal for 4 people. One of the advantages of this place is the fantastic location. It's only 1.5 miles to the village, yet you are surrounded by a typical Provençal countryside. You've got a fruit farm and vineyards on your doorstep (the rest of the owners land surrounding the villa is given over to agriculture) with some great towns and villages easily accessible for daily excursions. This gite is one of four properties on the same site. As well as having their own private space, all the villas share the large swimming pool and the great communal facilities

Villa St Isabelle is only 1.5 miles from the village of Malaucene where you will find plenty of small local shops and restaurants. If you like to explore the local Provençal markets, you’ll be spoilt for choice! Many of the towns and villages in the area are well known for the excellent Paysan Markets where you will find local produce, grown and sold by some real characters! The local landscape is dominated by vineyards, country roads and quaint villages, all gently basking in the Provençal sunshine. Overlooking this vista is the giant of Mont Ventoux. This is a 2000m summit that is famous for the challenge it poses to serious cyclists. If you are in the car, it also makes for a great day out with stunning views on a clear day! With good restaurants in abundance in this area, it’s not difficult to spoil yourself – holidays aren’t for dieting! Plenty of wine routes starts at the door of your Villa. Vaqueras, Gigondas, Cotes du Ventoux and Chateauneuf du Pape within 30 mins

Additional information about rental rates

  • Christmas and New Year charged at Mid Season Rates.
  • From 15th October until the end of March, a small charge may be applied to cover winter heating, measured using a meter in the property.
    Gas, electric, & water are all included in the rental cost.
    The owner arranges end-of-stay cleaning for a fee of 45 Euros, payable locally.
    Bed and bath linen is included in the rental cost, although you do need to remember to bring your own pool towels.
    In France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. It has been included here in the rental cost.
    The owner requests a damage deposit of 300 Euros on arrival and this will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
    The change over day is Saturday during the high season, although during the low season flexibility is possible
    Long weekends are not usually permitted during the high season, although flexibility is possible during the low season.

There’s also a BBQ if you fancy taking full advantage of the long evenings! The property shares a gated communal pool with three other villas. At 14m x 7m, it’s easily big enough to allow everyone to take a refreshing dip during the warm summers, or simply lounge about on the supplied furniture taking in the sun. The owner has recently installed a Wi Fi connection, making it even easier to stay in contact with home! A cot and high chair is available at this property.
