The Garden and Heated Pool:
The focus of living in Provence is the garden. Mas de Chenes has various different garden spaces including a cherry and apricot orchard, a playing field, a rolling hill that leads to a small creek (dry in summer), oak tree groves, courtyards, hammocks, secluded benches and tables and more. Cypress, olive and pine trees dot the property. We have our own herbs including rosemary, mint and basil. In season, fruit (including fig, plum, pear) and summer flowers -lavender and roses blossom. The tiled 12x6m. pool, with safety cover, is sloping so that it is deep only in the centre, not on the sides. There is plenty of space to both swim laps and play games. As the pool is fed by our well, we heat the pool with a conversion heater guaranteeing perfect temperatures for evening and day use. The pool is cleaned weekly. The pool patio includes comfortable lounge and reading chairs as well as a hammock. Within view throughout the property are the gentle slopes of the Luberon mountains.

Ansouis is located within a protected National Park area and benefits from this rural peace. Leisure activities such as biking, hiking, golf and riding are close at hand. Visitors are also drawn to Ansouis and its charming neighbour villages, Lourmarin and Curcuron for their markets, concerts, gourmet restaurants, chic shops and great bakeries-Ansouis is also famous for its home-made ice cream.
