A charming self-catering accommodation 'Le Pigeonnier' for 2 to 4 people with private garden shaded by an old accacia and overlooking Mont-Ventoux and Dentelles-de-Montmirail, outside the Village of Cairanne. Ideal base for exploring spectacular countryside, beautiful Provencal villages, Roman towns, lavender fields and markets. The house comprises two bedrooms with air-conditioning, shower-room with washing-machine and hair-dryer, wc, main room with kitchen corner, television, phone, WiFi access, storage room for bicycles, terrace with furniture and BBQ. Shared swimming-pool 4x11m. Parking. All amenities are available in the village including baker, grocer, butcher, post office, hairdresser, newsagent, bar. Avignon: at 45 minutes - Orange and Vaison-la-Romaine : 15 minutes- Pont-du-Gard and Gorges de l'Ardèche 1 hour - Sea at 1hour15mn. Nimes Airport 45m. L'Isle-sur-Sorgues with its market of Antics at only 40 minutes. Every morning a provencal market nearby.

Le Pigeonnier is situated in the middle of a triangle between Bollène, Vaison-la-Romaine and Orange, on the Côtes-du-Rhône route des vins and ideal base to visit the roman towns (Avignon, Orange, Pont-du-Gard, Nimes etc) but also all the surrounding villages of Cairanne, Séguret, Gigondas... The Ardèche river is also very near, the Mont-Ventoux, The Mediterranean sea is within 1hour30 mn drive. During the summer many festivals are going on everywhere. Don't forget to visit Aix-en-Provence. Several golf courses nearby. For wine lovers the Côtes du Rhône villages offer many caves and Domaine in the famous villages of Cairanne, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Rasteau, Vacqueyras, Vinsobres. Low coast airport within 45 minutes drive in Nimes or 1 hour in Montpellier.
