Mas de la Boissiere is a fantastic 6 bedroom / 6 bathroom, fully restored, very comfortable farmhouse with heated pool, set in it's own parkland with stunning views up to the Luberon Hills, thereby ensuring absolute peace, privacy and tranquillity. The property is situated between the pretty Luberon villages of Cucuron and Cabrieres d'Aigues - both are only 5 minutes drive away, with all necessary amenities such as bakers, butchers, post office, bank, newsagent, general store, gift shops as well as excellent restaurants. The weekly market at Lourmarin is an event not to be missed, with everything ranging from clothes, spices, to jewellery, and not forgetting the wonderful Provençal food, so much choice! This property can be rented on a self-catering basis or cooking services can be organised. Excellent cycling, walking, golf, restaurants, markets, vineyards, cultural visits are all close by. This house is available for rent through the year, with B&B out of season.

Mas de la Boissiere is located between Cucuron and Cabrieres d'Aigues on the South side of the Luberon. Cucuron has a weekly market as well as all the useful shops. Pertuis, about 20 minutes away, has the larger supermarkets. Aix en Provence, with many cultural attractions, as well as great shops and restaurants is only 30 minutes away. Avignon is 50 minutes away. There are a many golf courses to choose from within a 30 minute drive including Pont Royal. One can even lie on a lakeside beach or swim in the lake, only 10 minutes away. The local wines can be tasted at the vineyards followed by lunch at a great choice of restaurants.

Out of Summer Season: Mas de la Boissiere is a lovely place to rent in Autumn, Winter and Spring too. There are log fires in both the sitting room and the dining room, creating a very cosy atmosphere. Warm days with cooler nights make Provence a lovely place to visit at any time of the year. The food of course, is fantastic all year round. You can even go skiing, only 2 hours away! Weekly rentals or B&B are available all year.

The house and grounds are exactly like the photographs - just as beautiful and well kept. The service provided by Rene & Ulrike, the couple responsible for managing the property, was A++. The rooms were very comfortable (as were the beds!) and tastefully decorated as was the rest of the house. We loved the outdoor terrace and the pool with its stunning views of the Luberon. We had a lovely time and would definitely return to the Mas.
