In GORDES, 'La Tour des Beaumes' is a Historic Tower from 19th century that feels suspended above the Beautiful Luberon Valley. Enclose by Typical Gordes stone walls, the 2500 m2 grounds that surround the 'Tower' and keep it very quiet and pleasantly secluded. Gordes was the Village that inspired many famous Artists, Painters, and Poets in Provence since 1947, because its awesome beauty. Gordes is selected as one of the most Beautiful Hill-Top Villages in France. This Tower is an Authentic ' Folie' from 1850. 'La Tour des Beaumes' with its 'Orangerie', which is a nice winter Garden, in a middle of a Provençal Garden. The swimming-pool with terraces, pool-house, lots of shady trees, and a wonderful old box tree garden 'à la française'. In the garden level, the Tower offers, the Orangerie, a small kitchen, Bathroom, 2 Toilets. On the first floor of the Tower is the Bedroom with a king size bed for 2 adults. Gordes is a spectacular Medieval Hilltop village overlooking the Luberon Valley and Mountain and all the other nice villages, Ménerbes, Roussillon, Lacoste, Bonnieux, Oppède, Joucas. The beautiful Abbaye of 'Sénanque' from the 12th century is in Gordes. Nearby you'll find the famous Antiques Market in Isle sur la Sorgue. Very near also, you will discover the nice lavender, near 'sault'. In summer, you will get nice 'Festival' all around, in Avignon, Aix en provence, Orange, Nimes, Gordes, Lacoste, etc....St Remy, Les Baux are also beautiful visit near Gordes, in 'Les Alpilles' area. The Luberon Mountain by itself is a preserved natural Park. Every village has got his own market with the wonderful produce, fruits, vegetables, wines, olive oil, flowers, spices, honey, fabrics... The light, the scenery and the history of that special region will charm you every moment of the day! We will give you the names of our favourite restaurant with special food from Provence and good wines!....

The Swimming Pool is private to the guest of the Tower, you don't have to share with anybody else! There is a Pool House to rest in your pool-bed in the shade when you wish! We absolutly loved it here !
This is our sixth trip in Gordes but our first time at "La Tour des Beaumes" !!!
We have search for many years for a nice place just like this and now we will always stay here, as long as we can come.

The desperate Towers and the one in Gordes !

The "Desperate Towers" and the one Tower !

.....Some "Towers" only wish to dominate the all World!.......
......some other "Towers" wish to be protected from the all world.....
......some other "Towers" pretend to light the all "world"....
........but .....
......only one "Tower", the "Tour des Beaumes" in Gordes,
make the world nicer and so Beautiful !

Certaines "Tours" veulent dominer le monde !
....... d'autres "Tours" cherchent à s'en protèger.....
..........d'autres "Tours", croient l'éclairer........
.......mais seule "La Tour des Beaumes", rend le monde plus Beau !

Tour des Beaumes is the best of the best !

We have stayed in the "Tour des Beaumes" three consecutive summers
and would not dream of staying anywhere else!

The "Tour des Beaumes" is really so lovely, with a seperate bedroom, kitchen, shower and Bath and outside terrace for those gorgeous evenings in the garden, near the pool or on the Tower !

It is situated in a really stunning place, one of the best in all Gordes area.
It s such a pleasure to come back to Jardin of the Tour des Beaumes after a day on the roads!
It is perfectly maintained with beautiful flowers and trees and a great pool.
It is close to several good restaurants and is also very secure and enclose by Gordes stone walls.
The location is second-to-none, within a five minute walk of the famous Gordes historic center
and you can walk to get your french "croissants" in the morning !
We really do recommend this wonderful Tour des Beaumes to anyone, we love coming back here!
Enjoy your stay in our favorite place!

Hello Jean and Eric,
We promised ourselves that we would return to the "Tour des Beaumes" in 2008
and we were so pleased to do it !
These 2 weeks were so "merveilleuses" !
The weather was calm, sunny, with a magic blue sky every day !
But also at once, thank you for making us feel so very welcome again.
Thank you both also for your kindness and attention to details in everything.
This is also what makes this place so special.
The "Tour des Beaumes" has everything we could need to completly relax and rest. this is what we have done : a perfect escape !
We too enjoyed our promenade in the "Gorges de Sénanque" going
to the superb Abbaye of Sénanque.
We hope to be back soon, according to your very busy calendar of course ?
