In GORDES, a Village House on 5300 m2 grounds with a South Panoramic view facing the Luberon Mountain Range; on 5300 m2 that surround the House and keep it very quiet and pleasantly secluded, enclosed by typical Gordes Stone walls. Built in local Gordes Stones with Roman tiles, the House feels suspended above the beautiful Luberon Valley and its Villages.The House has been remodeled, decorated, and furnished in a very elegant style with Antiques, Paintings, and lovely objects. The Garden, the Terraces and all the rooms have this Panoramic Southern view facing the Luberon. GORDES was the Village that inspired many famous Artists and Painters in Provence since 1947, because its awesome beauty. GORDES is selected as one of the most beautiful hill-top villages in France.The entire House is very bright with that southern exposure. The light colored stone floors inside and out, give the House a very open and airy feeling. There is a lovely dinning room with large glass doors.

GORDES is a spectacular Medieval Hilltop village overlooking the Luberon Valley and Mountain and all the other nice villages, Ménerbes, Roussillon, Lacoste, Bonnieux, Oppède, Joucas. The beautiful Abbaye of 'Sénanque' from the 12th century is in Gordes. Nearby you'll find the famous Antiques Market in Isle sur la Sorgue. Very near also, you will discover the nice lavender, near 'sault'. In summer, you will get nice 'Festival' all around, in Avignon, Aix en Provence, Orange, Nimes, Gordes, Lacoste, etc. St Remy, Les Baux are also beautiful visit near Gordes, in 'Les Alpilles' area. The Luberon Mountain by itself is a preserved natural Park. Every village has got his own market with the wonderful produce, fruits, vegetables, wines, olive oil, flowers, spices, honey, fabrics. The light, the scenery and the history of that special region will charm you every moment of the day! We will give you the names of our favourite restaurant with special food from Provence and good wines!

The second Bedroom is smaller than the Master, but still very well furnished and pleasant, with also a Double Bed (1m60 x 2m) with private Bathroom with Bath tub, and WC. The swimming Pool is 10 meters by 5 meters with salt water system witch gives a very pleasant water for your skin and hair. The Pool is surrounded by Stone with four teak benches. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a swim and devour the real Beauty of Provence. This charming Stone House is perfect for a Romantic Couple (or 2 couples), who want to stay in the countryside, in the Village of GORDES, away from the Traffic and the noises. The grounds that surround the Stone House and the Pool are filled with all the trees, plants, and flowers of Provence. This House has a southern panoramic view facing the Luberon Mountain Range and all the Villages.

Nous gardons un merveilleux souvenir de ce séjour dans votre
superbe maison.
Nous sommes de retour à Paris relaxé, et avec l'idée de pouvoir
séjourner de nouveau dans votre belle maison l'an prochain.
C'est un petit coin de Paradis à Gordes.
Nous étions si bien que nous n'avions pas envie d'aller explorer
les villages.
Le matin nous marchions au village de Gordes pour faire le marché,
et le soir pour boire un petit verre sur la place.
Mais la sieste au bord de la piscine c'est le "Paradis'.

Lovely stay in the Stone House in Gordes !
It is a corner of Paradise in Provence !
We stayed in this gorgeous Stone House in Gordes.
We found it very hard to tear ourselves away the great pool and summerhouse even though we were surrounded by lots of charming little villages to visit nearby.
The House had every convenience necessary and was immaculate.
Totally recommended! We loved it !

How difficult it was, to say goodbye and go back home !
From the first minute that you both opened the gates of the property and welcomed us on arrival, we knew our stay was going to be a very special one, and it was really !
The House is superb, the furniture, the charm, the ambiance !
So great, so magic !
Our 3 weeks in your wonderful House has been a celebration of Love !
A celebration of our wedding anniversary and also our love for the Provence, and for that special place, your wonderful House!
You both are the perfect hosts ! We came back home with such beautiful memories ! merci !
We will never forget those 3 weeks !

Dear Eric and Jean,
For three years in a row we have rented your fabulous house in Gordes. We love everything about it - the peaceful and private situation within easy walking distance of the village centre, the eclectic interior decor with its beautiful antiques, the gorgeous garden and pool - we could happily return every year!
We would happily recommend it to anyone wanting something a bit different.
