Photos and Description of this Avignon holiday villa There are 3 twin rooms, a large 4th bedroom and a mezzanine. 2 bathrooms.

For large families, or groups of friends, this one is perfect as it sleeps up to 10 people. It’s quite unusual to find such a large, well-renovated, traditional house, with a beautiful garden and large pool, so close to a village. The interior of the house is huge, 250m of space, divided into a large sitting room with French doors onto the terrace and garden, a well equipped kitchen, a TV/ reading room, a dinning area and downstairs toilet. Upstairs there are 3 twin rooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room and there’s a separate large bathroom. The fourth bedroom is enormous! It has a very high-beamed ceiling and there’s plenty of room for the large mezzanine level. This room is very flexible and can accommodate 2 single beds, a sofa bed, baby cots and children’s beds on the mezzanine. If you visit in the summer you’ll probably spend much of you stay outside, enjoying the garden. The swimming pool is surrounded by beautiful lawns, cherry, olive and and plum trees.

This location has the convenience of a village setting, but is also great for exploring the surrounding countryside. The local landscape is dominated by vineyards, country roads and quaint villages, all overlooked by the giant of Mont Ventoux. This is a 2000m summit that is famous for the challenge it poses to serious cyclists. If you are in the car, it also makes for a great day out with stunning views on a clear day! If you like local Provencal markets, you’ll be spoilt for choice! Bedoin Carpentras, Vaison, Mazan are well known for the excellent Paysan Markets where you will find local produce, grown and sold by some real characters! There are also plenty of well known wine routes - Vaqueras, Gigondas, Cotes du Ventoux and Cahteauneuf du Pape are all within a thirty minute drive (Just make sure you have decided who’s driving back!) If you are sporty there's cycling, walking, rock climbing, horse riding, golf, quad biking, canoeing and Paragliding within 30 mins drive

Additional information about rental rates

  • Should you choose to visit during the winter months, winter heating is included in the cost of your holiday.
    Gas, electric, & water are all included in the rental cost.
    The owner arranges end-of-stay cleaning for a fee of 80 Euros, payable locally.
    Please remember to bring your own bed and bathroom linen. Alternatively, the owner can this for a fee of 10 Euros per person per week.
    In France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. It has been included here in the rental cost.
    The owner requests a damage deposit of 1000 Euros on arrival and this will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages. This can be paid by cheque in your local currency, if this is easier.

Notes: With a house and garden this size, it’s really useful that the owners live locally and are on hand to ensure that the house, garden and pool are kept in perfect condition. The large living area has French doors out onto the terrace where there's a large table for eating al fresco There's also a gas barbeque and a boules terrain. Included in the rental prices are water, electricity, gas, winter heating and tax de sejour. Bedding and towels can be hired from the owner or 10 euros per person per week. There is an end of stay cleaning charge of 80 euros, pay locally to the owner.
