This charming villa lies in a peaceful residential area of Tavel, Provencal village renowned for its delicious Rosé wine. At just a couple of minutes walk from the centre village with its little shops, restaurants cafés and many wine cellars for tastings! Surrounded by its pretty little garden, completely enclosed and secluded, ideal for an enjoyable holiday with all the advantages of village life close to hand, the exciting city of Avignon being at just ten minutes drive and the whole of Provence close by to be discovered. The private pool, 8 x 4 mts is directly adjacent to the covered summer terrace and BBQ area leading directly off the salon . An ideal property for just one or two couples, the villa can welcome up to 6 - 7 people with the upper children's bedroom.

Tavel is a bustling little Provencal village largely devoted to its Rosé wine. Situated at approx 10 kms from Avignon, it is an ideal base for visiting all of Provence and particularly indicated for wine lovers being in the middle of the Cotes du Rhone . Art lovers will appreciate the treasures of Avignon and Nimes and also the proximity of all the summer artistic festivals, opera at Aix en Provence, recitals in the Roman amphitheatre of Orange to name just a few.

La Martinière is situated in the quiet residential area of Tavel, world renowned for its Rosé wine, the pretty village surrounded by endless vineyards providing many opportunities of sampling all the local Cotes du Rhone ; Lirac and Chateauneuf du Papes to name just a few. At just 10 mins drive from the beautiful city of Avignon with its impressive Papal Palace and large choice of famous restaurants, it is also a perfect base for exploring Provence. The Camargue is barely an hours drive away with all its wild life and the lovely towns of Aigues Mortes & St Maries de la Mer and long sandy beaches.

Shopping : Shopping can be done at the little shops at walking distance from the Villa or at the large supermarket at five minutes drive. There are many local markets in the little villages around for a wide choice of fresh vegetables and fruit of Provence.

All the usual enjoyment to be had from a villa holiday with the added bonus of a 5 minute walk to get the bread and croissants in the morning, and later to enjoy coffee and watch the world go by.
In a village but not overlooked in any way.
All supported by the local contact, whose has excellent English and is extremely helpful.
