Situated in pretty countryside with views on the Mt Ventoux and at just 6 kms from the lovely Papal city of Avignon, this comfortable villa provides everything necessary for an agreeable holiday in family or with friends. Surrounded by a spacious garden with swimming pool of 10 X 5 mts with a summer kitchen and sunbathing terrace installed with loungers, there is also comfortable garden furniture in the shade of the mulberry tree in front of the house. A large orchard with cherry, almond, peach and fig trees lies next to the house where guests may appreciate the taste of Provencal sun-ripened fruit !

Local activities: Situated in the quiet country side, and at the same time being so close to Avignon it is easy to enjoy the sight seeing and varied activities that this beautiful city can offer whilst enjoying the peace at home by the pool. Ideal for visiting all of Provence by its central setting it is also a good base for those that wish to enjoy the international arts and theatre Festival D'Avignon that is held every year at the beginning of July. And of course all the famous vineyards of the Cotes du Rhone are nearby; Chateauneuf du Pape, Lirac, Tavel to name just a few.

Shopping: The local villages have a bakers but more shopping can be done at Villeneuve Les Avignon at a short drive. There are of course a great choice of local markets for fresh produce and of course the orchard at the house for seasonal fruit !
