Villa Souleiado is near the village of Vigneres, 5 km west of Cavaillon, 20 km south of Avignon, 45 minutes from Marseille airport. The villa is in a private location in four hectares of land. The village of Vignères, 2 km from the property, has a boulangerie, 2 bars, and a ‘tabac’. The typical Provencal town of Cavaillon, 5 km, has supermarkets, shops, restaurants and a weekly street market. This is a great location for visiting all the 'must sees' of Provence, including the 'Year in Provence’ villages of Ménerbes, Roussillon, Gordes etc. Delightful St Rémy de Provence, with specialist boutiques and restaurants, is only a 15 minute drive, Mediterranean beaches 45 minutes. Many typical Provencal markets in the area, including St Rémy de Provence, Cavaillon, Apt and the antique market of L'Isle sur la Sorgue. Close to Chateauneuf du Pape and Cotes du Rhone vineyards for superb wine tasting outings.

The villa is all on ground level, with glass doors opening to large terraces on two sides from the living room. One terrace is covered with an amazing, massively beamed roof and is perfect for al fresco dining on hot days. The other has views over the surrounding countryside and the pool. Outdoor dining furniture, sun beds and parasol are provided and there is a charcoal barbecue for your use. The pool, with a wide surround for sunbathing, is 10 x 5m, 1.10-1.80 m in depth and is entered by four steps. It is fenced and alarmed for safety. The grounds are planted with lavender and varied fruit trees.

With its high, beamed ceiling the bright, airy living room, 80 sq m, has a sitting area, dining area and - a surprise for the children (big and small!) in this chic setting – table football and a pinball machine! For thirsty players, there’s a bar made of antique pine with a zinc-type top. The big, fully equipped kitchen has light timber units, stainless steel oven with induction hob and breakfast table and chairs. There’s a large fridge freezer which dispenses iced water, dishwasher, microwave etc. A separate TV room has a large screen TV, PlayStation (video player, CD, DVD player plus games). The TV receives UK and European channels. Phone for incoming calls.

All three bedrooms have fans, bedside tables with iron-based lamps, antique pine style furniture, stylish wrought iron curtain fixtures with soft, dreamy curtains. Two bedrooms have double beds, the third a double bed which converts to two singles. The luxurious, ultra modern bathroom has two washbasins and a large shower. There is a separate WC with hand washbasin. The separate utilities room has a washing machine, clothes dryer, and hand washbasin. Sorry, not suitable for children between one and seven years.
