Located right on the picturesque harbour of Cassis, this stylish modern apartment in an old fisherman's house will bring you at the centre of the harbour's life with stunning views from your living room. It is 2 minutes away by foot from Cassis' main beach and offers other wilder bathing options under the highest Cliff of Europe or in the world renowned Calanques (a must for rock-climbing). The apartment has just been refurbished to a high standard and offers great living space with an open plan kitchen, large dining table and wide sitting area with working fireplace and extremely high ceilings in some parts. 2 of the bedrooms are at the back of the building overlooking a quiet courtyard.

Cassis is a little fishing port that has become a small family holiday resort. It has preserved 16th and 18th century architecture and a vibrant village heart with many food shops, restaurants, bars, a few clothing and gift shops and art galleries. It has 2 main beaches and access a few minutes away by foot to wilder sea shore underneath the nearby cliff and along the shore towards the Calanques, which are deep narrow inlets, sort of Provencal fjords. The Calanques are a renowned natural site that offers a gorgeous setting with crystal clear green waters, and white cliffs dotted with rock-climbers. These are also a renowned diving spot with great preserved flora and fauna and Roman wrecks. Cassis produces a famous white wine, one of the first Appellation d'Origine Controlée in 1936, and the result of a long tradition since around 600 BC. Cassis is located 30 min. away from Marseille and 40 min. from Aix where music and dance summer festivals take place.
