Unique and charming former 18th century olive oil mill fully restored to impeccable standards in authentic provençal traditional materials but with all 21st century comforts. The situation is superb – close to all the main attractions of Roman Provence –Les Baux de Provence 10km, St Rémy de Provence 15km, Arles 25km, Avignon 35km and the Camargue 30km. There are local shops, restaurants and tennis only 3km away at Mouries- the nearest large village – with its’ very typical provençal market. Golf and horse riding within 5km and a supermarket at St Martin de Crau – 10 km away. Internally the property oozes character and is very spacious with a magnificent “Grand Salon” of 120m2 and four first floor bedrooms all with en-suite facilities and two of which can accommodate an extra child’s single bed. Externally the level private grounds are equally spacious extending to 3000m2 (0.75 acre) including furnished terraces, lawns and a superb private swimming pool.

The “Les Baux de Provence” valley is a wonderful place for gastronomy with many Michelin-starred restaurants in the area, vineyards and olive oil mills for tasting and discovering the specialities of the region. Situated in the heart of the Alpilles, Saint Rémy is one of the 'must-sees' of Provence. Surrounded by lush green perfumed valleys, its ancient streets are lined with beautifully restored old houses. Strolling through the narrow winding streets there are many old fountains, shady squares, picturesque restaurants and elegant boutiques, 'hôtels particuliers' (often converted into museums or art galleries), convents, chapels, and ornate houses from the 17th and 18th century. Arles is surrounded by an environment of exceptional beauty: the banks of the Rhône river, the plains of Crau, the Alpilles hills and the untamed Camargue and has many important Roman remains - the arena, the Alyscamps burial grounds, the amphitheatre and the Roman baths of Constantin.
