Truely charming 19th century Provence house, in a secluded and yet very central location, only 30mn from Aix-en-Provence. Discerning travellers will enjoy this hidden getaway, set in a spectacular environment, with famous Sainte-Victoire mountain in the background, vineyards and olive groves all around. This highly rated villa is the perfect place to rest, enjoy quietness and remarkable landscapes. This holiday home is the permanent residence of the owners who are letting their house for summer holiday rental, up to 6 months rental. The villa has been fully renovated in 2001 and will meet all requirements in terms of confort and conveniences. Special care has been brought to the quality of beds and the confort of bathrooms, as this house also operates as bed and breakfast during school year. The swimming pool has enchanting view over the valley. The owners will assist their guests in any possible way to help them make the most out of their holiday in Provence.

Centrally located in Provence, Villa Chapelet is at the foothill of Sainte-Victoire montain, 25km from Aix-en-Provence, just outside the village of Puyloubier. Not far at all is Marseille, distant from only 50km, 2nd largest french city, and cultural capital of Europe in 2013. Avignon, the city of Popes, is only 100km up north, and can be explored easily in one day. Villa Chapelet central location in the heart of Provence makes it a perfect starting point for day tours to the callanques – spectacular costal canyons and clifs – between Marseille and Cassis, or to Les Baux-de-Provence and Saint-Rémy along the Alpilles chain of mountains. The Camargue natural reserve and the antique town of Arles are 97km to the north-west. As you continue clockwise, Lourmarin, Gordes in the Luberon are just one hour away, while Manosque and the Verdon canyon are within reach (80km). Going towards the Côte d'Azur, Saint-Tropez is 100km away, then are Cannes (130km), Nice (150km) and Monaco (180km).

Wonderful home-from-home; incredibly helpful owners who speak great English too. Our whole party from babies to 80's enjoyed the house, its grounds and day trips made from our lovely base. Pretty much faultless - we have stayed twice and would not hesitate to stay again and encourage others to do so.

Ein sehr gepflegtes Haus mit sehr guter Ausstattung in wunderbar ruhiger Lage mit schönen Ausblick auf die Landschaft. Wir (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder 8-14J.) haben uns in diesem Haus so wohl gefühlt, dass wir keine großartigen Ausflüge machen wollten. Kleine und große Wanderungen die man direkt von Haus aus starten kann und ein Sprung in den schönen großen Pool, haben uns zufrieden sein lassen.
Die qualitativ hochwertige Ausstattung des Hauses und der regelmäßige Zimmerservice waren sehr zufriedenstellend.
Die netten, hilfsbereiten Vermieter, die uns immer die gewünschte Privatssphäre gewährt haben, waren stets zur mit Rat und Tat zur Stelle, wenn wir sie brauchten.
Im typisch französischen Dorf wird alles geboten, was man zum täglichen Bedarf braucht.
Menschen, die in einer sehr angenehmen Umgebung zur Ruhe kommen möchten, können wir diese Oase der Ruhe, zwischen Olivenhainen und Weintrauben wärmstens empfehlen.
