Entrevaux is a 2000 year old Roman town with a citadel, nestled among terraced olive groves under an eternal blue sky situated on the Var river 70 kms inland from Nice. It is served year round by train and bus which runs from Nice to the inland city of Digne. The property is situated 5 kms from Entrevaux above a small hamlet called Le Champ which overlooks the citadel in Entrevaux. The area is very scenic and provides river rafting, horse riding, tennis, mountain climbing and mountain biking and hiking for those with a sense of adventure.

Notes: The property is comfortably furnished as a home, not just as a holiday let. We use the house a lot ourselves during the spring, autumn and winter. It is 5kms from the village and very peacefull.

A charming and comfortable house situated in a fantastic location with splendid views over the mountains surrounding Entrevaux, a paradise for hikers. The house is fully equiped and well maintained by a friendly host who lives nearby the property. The 5 km trip from the house to Entrevaux (closest shops) looks like an interesting challenge but is perfectly safe if you drive carefully.
