A typical farmhouse in Provence is called a 'mas' - & traditional design & building methods with terracotta tiled floors and warm colour schemes are reflected throughout this property which was newly-built in 2005. The property is absolutely immaculate and really well equipped & is set in more than half an acre of enclosed garden with a variety of Mediterranean plants, lavender bushes & olive trees in a quiet, partly-wooded area only five minutes walk from the village centre. The superb private swimming pool- 10m x 5m - is enclosed for safety and adjoins a lawned area - perfect for small children - & a sunbathing terrace with lounger’s. Close by there is a pool house with barbecue close to the pool. Internally the property is traditionally furnished with contrasting soft colours of decoration. The fully fitted kitchen has all the necessary equipment for 21st century requirements including a dishwasher & washing machine.

The centuries' old Provencal village of Eyragues is situated between Avignon & the Camargue close to historic Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. The village is the perfect starting point for exploring historic Provence or perhaps visiting the wild horses, bulls & flamingos of the Camargue. Provence has something for everyone - cultural & historic highlights can be found from Saint-Rémy and Les Baux to Pont du Gard, Arles, Nîmes, Avignon and Aix-en-Provence to mention a few. Or follow Van Gogh's tracks through his most creative period - on a day trip all are easily possible. For sporting activities there is mountain biking & walking around the Alpilles and Lubéron, horse-riding, golf & tennis. Sandy beaches are only 30 mins' drive for trips to the coast. Eyragues is a typical Provencal village where the old farming and bull rearing traditions are still apparent. The highlight of the week for locals is the weekly provençal market which is held every Friday & a must for visitors to join in.

Stunning house near St Remy, a lovely town

Immaculate, well situated property just 8 mins drive from St Remy de Provence with its restaurants, shops, cafes and museums. This house has everything you could possibly need and the owners were very welcoming and helpful. The pool is secluded and the gardens well tended and beautiful. Could not be faulted for a family holiday - excellent both as a base for touring and for spending days doing very little. Lovely bakeries and plenty of food shops just a minute away in the village of Eyragues. A little further on is Les Baux de Provence, well worth visiting.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
