Delightful villa - private pool in secure estate with International golf course

This Villa has some excellent facilities and is well laid out.
Starting from the bottom, you have the boule court which was used on a daily basis and is well shaded under the trees. The smimming pool is on the next level (with table tennis table and barbeque) and there is plenty of room for sunbathing around the side. The pool can be a little cool in the early morning but is fine in the afternoon when the sun has warmed it up.The ground floor of the accommodation is on the next level and has all the facilities that you need but the Villa also has a fantastic decking area which is great for dappled shade when you want to get out of the sun and was the main area where we ate and played games and generally chilled out.Finally you have 3 bedrooms which are not overlooked and seemed remarkable cool in the evening, even after a hot summers day.
The Villa is really well located on the Pont Royal estate as it is only a 10 minute walk to the facilities but is sufficiently far away not to be disturbed by the activity of the site.
We had a couple of minor problems with the internet connection and the barbeque but these were quickly dealt with by the owner and the housekeeping staff.
There are some obvious places to visit from the Villa such as Aix en Provence, Avignon,Marseilles,Baux and Arles but our favourite was a smaller town called Lourmarin which seems to have developed itself into an arts and crafts centre with some good restaurants as well.
Don't come here if you want plenty of beach (it is about an hour away) and night life, but it is great if you want sporting activity and an opportunity to relax.
