It’s very unusual to find a holiday home so close to the village centre with a large pool, that is surrounded by trees with a feeling of space.Conveniently located to walk into the world famous village of Les Eyzies, these pretty properties sit opposite dramatic limestone rock faces once home to Cromagnon man. Being just ¼ of a kilometre from the Font de Gaume caves (a UNESCO heritage site), the properties which CAN BE LET BOTH INDIVIDUALLY OR TOGETHER are situated at the heart of it all. La Maison Verte and La Maison à Côte have both been sympathetically renovated. Decorated to a high standard with wood and tiled floors, each property has been tastefully and indeed comfortably furnished and have all the necessary conveniences for modern living. The large 40ft x 20ft swimming pool and pretty grounds provide an ideal area for relaxation and to top up that tan. Friendly but unobtrusive owners live nearby. A Great way for two families wishing to holiday together whilst enjoying your 'own space' La Maison Verte - located entirely on the ground floor sleeping up to 4 people. The spacious well equipped kitchen and dining area leads on to the comfortable open plan living room, which benefits from French doors opening onto the large terrace with views to the limestone hills opposite. An ideal place to relax, barbeque and enjoy a meal with friends. La Maison à Côte - located over two floors and sleeps up to 5 people. The kitchen has a dining area that leads directly onto the terrace. The walnut staircase leads from the kitchen to the spacious living area, which is tastefully furnished and has satellite TV. Both properties have two pretty bedrooms, one double and one twin (the twin in Maison à Côte can be converted to a triple), and both have large bathrooms & seperate toilets. All creature comforts including satellite TV, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, BBQ, etc

We spent a week in this fabulous part of France in May (09) with two young children. Le Relais des Roches was a great place to stay, very charming and comfortable. The pool is lovely, really well maintained and accessed through a lockable gate making it very safe for kids, also alarmed. BBQ etc. supplied for outdoor living. The location is great on the edge of Les Eyzies, a beautiful village with a really good selection of restaurants. A short drive to the Saturday morning market in Sarlat was a highlight of our trip. This is a brilliant base in the Dordogne. Can't wait to go back - ideal for two families.

The description of this property was accurate. It had a really homely feel to it and both the property and the pool were clean and very well maintained. The owners were very friendly and helpful but unobtrusive also. There is also lots of useful local information provided within the property file left at the location.This was a lovely property, very well situated within a short walk from the quaint village of Les Eyzies, where there are plenty of restaurants of all price ranges to choose from, a weekly market, gift shops and the prehistoric museum. I would certainly love to return one day and will definitely be recommending it to friends.
