'La ferme de Villlage' includes the farmhouse together with the 400year old Perigordian Barn. It is located in the heart of the village of Tremolat with views of open fields from the pool and gardens. It is ideally situated for visiting all the sights of the Dordogne including chateaux, caves, vineyards and medieval towns and villages. The Dordogne River is within a short walk. The three properties comprise the farmhouse, and two gites within the vast barn, one of which is converted for wheelchair use, if required. Each property has its own private garden with a barbecue, garden furniture, and direct access to the pool.

La Grange Gauche is part of the 400 year old Perigordian Barn and is wheelchair accessible. It has been attractively converted to show off the old oak beams and roof structure. On the ground floor is the sunny lounge which has large french windows looking SW over the garden, pool and open fields towards the river, the fitted kitchen and the dining area from which you can view the oak beams and mezzanine floor which provides a second seating area. Also on the ground floor there is one double bedded room, one twin bedded room and one of the two shower rooms, suitable for disabled use. On the first floor is one double bedded room, the second shower room and the second sitting area. Leading from this area is a stair ladder up to the gallery bedroom with two beds.

The picturesque and friendly village of Tremolot is in the heart of the Dordogne, described by many as 'paradise'. The old village was the setting for the classic film 'Le Boucher'. The 'Ferme de Village' is a couple of minutes walk from the centre with restaurants, the bar, the bakery, a well stocked minimarket and in the summer many extra activities. The Dordogne river is a short walk from the property with many water activities available. Further on up the hill, for those keen on walking or cycling, is the renowned panoramic view of the Cingle (river meander), which can also be reached by car. Alternatively just relax by the pool and garden with a book from the selection available, or watch satellite TV on the occasional rainy day. There many activities nearby, prehistoric caves, cliff-top castles, local markets, etc... a perfect holiday setting for young and old, families, groups and couples.
