Le Pouget - Our personal touch:
Our aim is to ensure that you have the holiday of your choice, whether it's family fun, away from it all relaxation or both , we will do our best to help you achieve that. We can get some groceries in for you on arrival and any baby or toddler items you may need! Le Pouget is totally independent, no sharing of facilities with other guests and we do not live on site, so the house, garden,pool etc is all yours for the duration of your stay. We will be there to meet you on arrival and to help you settle in and answer any questions you may have, we will then leave you with the keys and the magical ambiance of Le Pouget! We are only 15 minutes and a phone call away and on hand 24/7. So come and stay at Le Pouget and experience our 'little bit' of Heaven. ........We also have another property in the Heart of Sarlat (sleeps 2) property no : 409648, maybe we may see you here also?!

SUMMER & AUTUMN IN PERIGORD NOIR:
SUMMER arrives and along with it the festivals and fun,..............Lazy days on the inland beaches or canoeing along the river, ...............Cooling off and exploring the many caves........ cycling, walking, adventure parks, zoos, aquariums, chateau, from pre-historic to medieval to modern day! Gourmet restaurants - wine, cheese, foie gras, walnuts & truffles, markets all this and more neatly packed into the Perigord. AUTUMN arrives with warm golden evenings and fresh crisp mornings and a more relaxed atmosphere, with plenty to do & see, and of course not forgetting the Restaurants, markets, Antique fairs, and lazy afternoons with a good book, glass of wine in the afternoon sunshine at Le Pouget.
WINTER & CHRISTMAS IN SARLAT :
WINTER. In this region winter can be cold, but with crisp sunny days & the smell of oak burning fires, the area has a mystical feel !!! Exploring the area at this time of year is like having a playground all to yourselves...wander the markets & the cobbled streets of Sarlat taking in the amazing architecture, or take a stroll around the many chateaux, pretty villages & gardens or take in the stunning views from the bastide of Domme. We have bikes and Le Pouget is situated on a walking/cycling route a great way to see the countryside! ...& after all the sightseeing....come home to Le Pouget put your feet up & relax in front of your log burning fire with a glass of wine & good book. If you fancy CHRISTMAS away, take time out at Le Pouget & enjoy Christmas in France... Sarlat has a lovely Christmas Market, with ouside skating rink & Christmas Carols at the Cathederal,! A Christmas stay at Le Pouget includes a Christmas Tree, decorations, table decorations and a Christmas hamper !!!
