Domaine de Beauregard is a working vineyard in the Bergerac wine region. The property has 136 acres of land and woodlands of which 32 acres are vines. The vines have been planted on the hillsides surrounding the property's private winery and we are also currently working towards getting an Organic certification. Within the grounds of the Vineyard we have a wonderful self catering gite with everything you need to enjoy your holiday with us at the Domaine. The Vine House has 3 double bedrooms which can be converted into twins if necessary. Baby equipment is available. The lounge is bright and airy, french doors lead out to acres of land and spectacular views across the forest and the vineyard. Dining room seating for 8 people and kitchen equipped with everything you should need to make your stay here stress free. All linen and towels included in price. Vineyard Tour

If all the times in visiting the Dordogne you have never ventured into a vineyard to see how it is all done, then this is the place for you. We will show you around the property explaining all the work that takes place on the vineyard and looking after the vines. You will then be given a tour of the 'chai' where the wine is made. Then of course you can have a tasting session to sample all our wines.

Lac du Gurson

The Lac du Gurson, is a wonderful place to spend long lazy sunny days. The main lake with its own beach is life guarded during the main summer months and it is excellent for the children with its shallow waters. Around the lake you can find the water shute, bars, restaurants, pedalos and horse-riding. There is a 2nd fishing lake also in the complex.

Activities

There are so many activities readily available in this area of the Dordogne including, Golf, canoeing, Horse-riding, paint-balling, go karting and there is a recently opened wonderful play centre in Bergerac. We will be of course on hand to help you (if needed) if any booking of such activities.

Golf Information:

Chateau les Vigiers Is approximately 40km away and is a beautiful golf course and spa. Listed below are a few details of the course at Les Vigiers. The Golf at Château des Vigiers Château des Vigiers forms the centrepiece of a spectacular 27 hole, par 72 golf course designed by Donald Steel who is considered one of the very best 'natural' golf course architects. The original 18 hole golf course was completed in 1991 by Brian D. Pierson and is set amidst plum orchards, oak woods, lakes and vineyards. We have just finished a fantastic 9 hole course, also designed by Donald to integrate beautifully into the existing course. The new course will be open in the early part of 2008 and will offer added variety to our members and guests. The courses are maintained as a holiday courses with short rough, promoting quick play and accessibility for higher handicaps whilst still offering a challenge to lower hadicappers. In addition we have a 6 hole academy course, ideal for beginners and, in combination with a covered driving range, practice greens and bunkers, you have an ideal place to begin or improve your game. Our Resident Pro, Vincent Trojani, is always on hand to give lessons and our Touring Pro, John Bickerton, who won the French Open in 2006, holds frequent golf clinics at Vigiers.
