17th Century farmhouse and small cottage
We are situated in the Dordogne, less than 5 minutes walk from the village of St Laurent des Hommes (population 950). The village is situated between the River L'Isle and the Double Forest (66,000 hectares). It has a boulangerie, tabac, bar, grocer, post office, butcher and hairdresser. Part of the farmhouse, Cheminee, is 400 years old. There is a magnificent fireplace in the large lounge which has oak beams (and a high ceiling). The smaller cottage Perigord also has oak beams. We have a 10m x 5m fenced swimming pool. The summer house has hundreds of books. The enclosed garden has a lawn, fruit trees and flowers with ample parking space.
