The Gites are in a converted stable block set in beautiful grounds comprising forest and garden which extend to around 4 acres. Our Gites are ideal for individual families and also for groups who wish to holiday together whilst maintaining their independence. The swimming pool is open from the start of May through early October. All Gites are furnished and equipped to an exceptionally high standard and all include dishwasher, microwave, CD Stereo and Satellite TV (including UK Channels). All are fitted with electric radiators to ensure comfortable year round use. Externally all have a private patio area equipped with wooden picnic bench and BBQ. Rose has two bedrooms: 1 x double and 1 x bunk beds; Rouge has two bedrooms: 1 x double and 1 x twin; Blanc has three bedrooms: 1 x double and 2 x bunk beds. Cots and high chairs are available at no extra charge.

Visit our Website. La Forestine is situated in the heart of the country yet is only 15 minutes away from the bustling market town of Bergerac. The Dordogne is a wonderful area which really does have something for everyone. The entire region is steeped in history going back as far as prehistoric times with many examples of cave paintings. In nearby Bergerac you can enjoy a wide variety of pavement bars and cafes, as well as a very good choice of shopping. In addition there are a number of weekly markets where you can purchase local produce and other goods. Some of the best restaurants in the entire region are situated in the Old Town. In the surrounding area you can visit the many châteaux and vineyards, canoe down the Dordogne, visit other historic towns in the area such as Sarlat and Perigueux, or simply relax in the countryside.
