Local Area:
We are situated in Foret de Double. We are 50 mins from Bergerec and 55 mins from Bordeaux. The main town of Montpon is 15 mins away and LaRoche Chalais is 10 mins away were you can find a Supermarket, boucherie, boulanger, tabac and three good restaurants, there is also a post office and two hairdressers. The small hamlet of Eygurande is 15 mins down the road were there is a restaurant/bar. We are ideally placed for those who wish to visit the many Chateaux and try vast array of wines.

Jardin de Noix Grounds:
The ground are maintained to high standard. There are many paths for you to walk and take in all the wildlife. There are many varieties of birds for the nature lovers among you. There are three fishing lakes full of carp for your private use the owner who lives on site will provide you with fishing equipment if required. There is also a row boat for you use. There are many apple and pear trees (feel free to pick the fruit) there is walnut and chestnut trees and blackberries. Or if not just lay round the pool and relax.
There is badminton, petanque, football and children's swings, rocker and children's table and chairs. There is board games and books for your use. We also have a large quantity of video's and DVDs for hire.
We have some children's toys if required.
Leisure facilities:
We are 15 mins from Parcaul this is a man made beach with water slide. There are boats, crazy golf, children's swings, bar, restaurant and a small train. There is canoeing in Montpon or Kayaking at Parcaul. You can hire bikes or go horse riding. Lac Gurson is 25 mins drive this is another man made beach. There are markets on most days of the week St Foy is a great market on Saturday and Libourne on Sunday.
The Chateau in Chalais is 25 mins drive away it is one of the best restaurants in this area but you must book early or you will be disappointed. St Emilion is 40 mins drive. Or 1hour and 30 mins away is Archachon and Dune de Pyla which is the higest sand dune in Europe. On the road to Bergerec at Pro Glis there is Jet skiing, quad bikes, roller skating and paintball. At Bergerec there is a Aqua park and Go Kart track.
Golf:
At Monbazillac is Chateau de Vigiers Golf and leisure complex. There is a 18 hole golf course and driving range. Golfers must have a minimum of 36 handicap to play. The chateau also offers 2 restaurants and a beauty saloon. There are other golf courses.
