Our house, ‘Le Pezul’ is an ideal spot to use as a base to tour this lovely area of France. A charming 200 year old farmhouse that has been restored recently to provide a high level of comfort with exposed stonework and beams. The ground floor consists of: Large comfortable lounge with huge open fireplace, television, DVD and video player; Fully equipped kitchen/dining room opening out onto terrace and garden; 1 double bedroom; Bathroom and toilet. Additionally three double bedrooms (one en suite), a play room with sofa bed, and toilet with wash-hand basin are located on the second floor. The rooms can be easily re-arranged to accommodate additional single beds and a cot on request. In the rear garden the fenced swimming pool with roman steps will give you a chance to cool during the hot summer days.

Why don’t you visit the many beautiful towns in the area with their magnificent medieval and renaissance architecture - Bergerac and Perigueux are just 20 minutes away (not to mention the superb restaurants and shops). The Vezere valley is famous for Lascaux and many other pre-historic examples of cave dwellings. Visit the towns of Sarlat, Brive and Les Eyzies Our house, ‘Le Pezul’ is an ideal spot to use as a base to tour this lovely area of France. Situated in a small hamlet eight minutes drive from the town Vergt (the famous strawberry capital of France) with supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants banks, doctors, etc. There is fantastic weekly market- great place to buy fresh local products.

This is returned within 7 days of your departure following your stay.
