Maison de Nicola has been restored to a very high standard, with oak beams throughout, offering spacious living accommodation. Lounge approx 65 sq metres with terracotta tiled floors with underfloor heating if needed. There is a Bang & Olufson TV and stereo with 4 speakers for a wonderful surround sound also with a remote link in the kitchen dinning room. The lounge has an oak staircase leading up to a large bedroom with double bed and futon this room has a large on suite bathroom with separate bath and shower. Kitchen dinner approx 55sq metres well equipped with another TV area and wood burner This room also has an oak staircase leading up to two bedrooms one twin bedded one single bedded with shower,toilet,basin The lounge has wonderful views through the patio doors of the surrounding countryside and magnificent salt pool with palms around The private swimming pool is alarmed with approx half an acre of garden with many fruit trees that you are free to help yourself if in season.

Issac is situated in a beautiful part of the Dordogne surrounded by beautiful countryside and many places of interest to visit nearby, Bergerac airport is about 20 km away but also a beautiful place to eat with many restaurants to be found in the little side streets that are full of charm. There are also some good golf courses and plenty of other activities to be found. Bordeaux is about 1 hours drive away with vineyards plentiful.

Stunning Farmhouse

After holidaying in several areas of France for many years now, we have to say that 'Maison de Nicola' truely exceeded our expectations hence the reason for our second holiday there. This Farmhouse is set in an Idylic and peaceful location and is Absolutely Stunning, all credit needs to go to the delightful owners Graham & Sarah who have put so much thought in to the property that you really do not want for anything.
A must is a trip to Bergerac which is only 20mins drive away, with it's vast array of Shops, Bars & Restaurants and also a Saturday Market selling lot's of local produce. Should you need advice on places to eat/visit Graham & Sarah are always more than happy to help.

We have had two fantastic holidays here and we can honestly say we don't want to stay anywhere else from now on and are already planning our next holiday there next year.

We would Highly Recommend this Farmhouse....... you will definately not be disappointed!

We really enjoyed our stay here, and would endorse the previous reviews. It's an idyllic rural location - well away from it all, with plenty to see if you're happy to drive a bit.

The owners who live next door were helpful but unintrusive (and provided the best welcome basket we've ever had).

The facilities are good, and it was a pleasure to swim in a non-chlorinated pool.

We are not easily impressed but this holiday fulfilled every expectation. It is an oasis of peace and calm in a spectacular setting and even though the weather was mixed, it did not affect our enjoyment of this beautiful home at all. Graham & Sarah are the perfect hosts - unobtrusive yet always willing to help when asked. Even after 3 weeks, we could have stayed longer. Which means, of course, that we will return!

Lovely Issac farmhouse

We have been holidaying in France for a number of years and this farmhouse provided the best accommodation we have had. It has been beautifully renovated by Graham and Sarah, the friendly and welcoming owners who live nearby, and is situated in a peaceful rural setting with marvellous views across the valley.

We particularly enjoyed the spacious rooms and high quality fixtures and fittings, including a superb Bang & Olufsen TV and sound system with 5 speaker surround sound. The salt water pool was also very welcome for keeping cool in the hot weather.

We would definately stay here again.

A little piece of heaven

Our family stayed here this summer and it was delightful. The property is all new internall, in excellent condition and very tastefully decorated. - The photos really don't do it justice. The area is extremely beautiful and peaceful, quite rural. Definately need a car. We wished we had brought our bicycles but walking was just as good. The swimming pool was always clean and a good size, and the salt water was nicer than chlorine (didn't bleach the cozzies either). The garden is very pretty and well kept, plenty of places for the kids to explore including the nearby fields. The owners are lovely too, they live near enough to help but never intruded. Highly recommend.
