Beautiful set of 3 perigordian houses each with its own pool

Beautiful set of Perigordian buildings including one old master house (7 sleeps), one well-renovated barn (8/9 sleeps), one pigeon tower (2 sleeps + a child), each with its private pool and garden. The “Domaine du Vieux Soulbarede” is a typical Perigordian complex including three old buildings from the 18th century. It is situated in a small hamlet surrounded with plum trees on one side, fields and forests on the other. The three buildings have been recently completely renovated in a high standard and they have retained their original charm and character. The property is situated on the edge of the hamlet on more than two acres of fenced garden. The buildings are far enough from each other and well separated by hedges. The gardens are spacious and planted with trees and bushes. The housings are well-equipped and decorated with charm and respect of the regional tradition. Each owns its terrace in front of its pool and its garden furniture and BBQ.

“La Closerie” was the old mansion of the owner; it has been well renovated showing off to advantage its ancient features as beams, old huge fireplaces and the ancient sink decorating the living-room. The kitchen is typical with a very high ceiling and beams, and a large stone fireplace. It is fully equipped with new household appliances and new cupboards. Its 35 square meters are large enough to eat in on an old farm table. A French window opens on the terrace and you can easily enjoy eating outside on the garden table. The living-room with another old stone fireplace is furnished with two sofas and old furniture.

The “Domaine du Vieux Soulbarede” is situated in a beautiful area well-known for its quality of life, its pleasant weather, its beautiful landscapes and architecture. It is close to Bergerac (15 kms), a nice town with all facilities; the medieval village of Issigeac is very near too (9 kms) with its shops and its famous Sunday market; during summer a lot of activities and fairs are organised in these towns and in a lot of bastides of the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne within short driving distance. The Bergerac area is famous for its vineyards and a lot of wine-growing estates are open for visiting and tasting. The choice of entertainment is large: canoeing on Dordogne and Vezere rivers, trips on “gabarre”, visiting castles ( Monbazillac, Lanquais, ...) and bastides, walking, cycling, golf, squash, horse riding are available in the area. In Gironde, the famous medieval town of Saint-Emilion is at 67 kms and Bordeaux at 104 kms.
