Beautiful set of Perigordian buildings including one old master house (7 sleeps), one well-renovated barn (8/9 sleeps), one pigeon tower (2 sleeps + a child), each with its private pool and garden. The “Domaine du Vieux Soulbarede” is a typical Perigordian complex including three old buildings from the 18th century. It is situated in a small hamlet surrounded with plum trees on one side, fields and forests on the other. The three buildings have been recently completely renovated in a high standard and they have retained their original charm and character. The property is situated on the edge of the hamlet on more than two acres of fenced garden. The buildings are far enough from each other and well separated by hedges. The gardens are spacious and planted with trees and bushes. The housings are well-equipped and decorated with charm and respect of the regional tradition. Each owns its terrace in front of its pool and its garden furniture and BBQ.

“La Grange” is a large and beautiful old barn newly renovated with charm and character. It has kept the features of the ancient building: old beams, stone walls, old fireplace, and offers the comfort of a new house. It owns its private pool situated behind the house facing the garden and beautiful landscapes of fields and pines. The main entrance with a huge French window is the ancient door of the barn, it opens on a large hall welcoming with a nice little living-room. It is separated from the main living-room by the old beams of the ancient cowsheds, the living-room with stone walls and an old fireplace is nicely furnished with red sofas and armchairs; the dining-room is on the other side of this large space, well-furnished with a table and chairs and an old sideboard; it communicates with a large kitchen fully equipped with oak furniture and new household appliances. An old sideboard is full of all the crockery you need. The dining-room opens on a large terrace by a French window.

The “Domaine du Vieux Soulbarede” is situated in a beautiful area well-known for its quality of life, its pleasant weather, its beautiful landscapes and architecture. It is close to Bergerac (15 kms), a nice town with all facilities; the medieval village of Issigeac is very near too (9 kms) with its shops and its famous Sunday market; during summer a lot of activities and fairs are organised in these towns and in a lot of bastides of the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne within short driving distance. The Bergerac area is famous for its vineyards and a lot of wine-growing estates are open for visiting and tasting. The choice of entertainment is large: canoeing on Dordogne and Vezere rivers, trips on “gabarre”, visiting castles ( Monbazillac, Lanquais, ...) and bastides, walking, cycling, golf, squash, horse riding are available in the area. In Gironde, the famous medieval town of Saint-Emilion is at 67 kms and Bordeaux at 104 kms.

The pool is salt-treated (mild for body and hair) and is equipped with an alarm for children; it is an extraordinary place for relaxing and sunbathing in a quiet and rural atmosphere.
